This Mcalisters definitely has some delicious food. That being said, their service could use a little work. I usually go during lunch time, so I know it’ll be busy but it seems they don’t… They almost never have more than 2 registers open inside so the line backs all the way to the door. Lately I’ve been ordering by phone and using the pick up window and that hasn’t helped. Either the drive thru line is just as long or their orders are mixed up so yours isn’t ready(or even started) by the time you get to the window. More than a little frustrating. I keep going back because the food is great and I work so close it seems like it should be easy, though I’m not sure it’s worth spending half my lunch break. Mcalisters is also a little pricey, so between that and the wait I might have to decide on a new lunch favorite

For the past two days our group here at Bechtel had catered lunches for approximately 25 people. Each time they were delivered on time and everyone enjoyed the sandwich, pickle, chips and cookie.

Food was good but restraunt was dirty. They need to sanitize floors. Brownies were delicious!

Each time we drive here from calallen area we get great service, very friendly staff and the food is delicious. The place is always kept clean and neat. The southwest turkey melt is delicious as well as the tea. Yum

My niece loves the gluten-free bread. It’s nice to have a place to take her to eat in Portland. Staff is always friendly and fast!

We enjoy coming here on Sundays for their $ 4.99 lunches, plus the kids meal is $ 1.99. Always pleased with the food and service. The Savannah Chopped Salad is my favorite thing to order here, the iced tea is giant too.

Food is average, just taste like any other sandwich shop’s. I think it’s a little too expensive just for a sandwich and a side, also. If you get a drink it’s also extra. I had the chicken salad sandwich and it was not good at all. Made me feel sick that night. It wasn’t the traditional chicken salad I had expected. Sides are always pre made so taste reheated when you get them. Not a great experience. Staff is very slow, also.

When we first walked in the place smelled like the map was never cleaned. The tables were dirty and the floors had food every where. The food came to use with blood from our server arm. She put her fingers in our food. Our food was not as bad as the people across from us. The blood dropped into their food. We were grossed out, so we just walked out. Get your shots before you dine in.

Food is good however if you order online or phone ahead be ready to wait. I’ve ordered 3 times ahead of getting here and each time I go pick it up I pull up to the drive through window, pay for my meal and then wait for at least 10 minutes. I figured giving them 25 minutes of notice by ordering ahead would mean my food would be ready when I drive up but that hasn’t happened yet. Once again the food is good but the service is not up to par with other locations.

The food is always very good and we never have to wait long. Parking and ordering is easy. The only thing I didnt like is when I went in to eat this last time, this girl kept refilling things at our table. I know, not anything to get mad at, but when me and my friends are eating we want to be left alone, not worry about moving out of your way so you can reach over us… the staff does stand around and talk a lot but that’s usually expected when most of the staff are teens. Great food though.

We mostly order take-out online. Several times our orders were wrong. I would say service is hit and miss not the same each time. Employees are always helpful and friendly. Now about the tea, it’s sometimes more sweet than others again hit and miss. Overall I would recommend this Mcalisters. We eat there several times a month.

Food was good — my service was questionable. My order was To Go, but originally brought out on a tray. Quickly repackaged, but lots of people standing around behind the counter. Glad to know that I can call ahead & then use the drive through.

This McAlister’s is getting its polish on(it is new). Staff is generally friendly. My food has been prepared correctly and delivered promptly. Sometimes tables aren’t exactly clean, so there’s still room for improvement there. Restrooms are clean and parking is ample. I’ve enjoyed all of the soups I’ve had. The spud, not so much. Every sandwich I’ve had, though, has been great.

Being a unsweetened tea drinker, I have not tried McAlister’s Famous Sweet Tea or I never will, so I can not rate their Famous Sweet Tea, but their iced tea is very very weak. We have been there total of 5 times. Weird thing is they never welcome customers as customers come in. No «Next customer, please» or such as you are in the line to order your food. One girl is very friendly, and she is the only one does sidework keeping herself busy, when they are not too busy. Others seem to stand around inside the ordering counter and chat.

Had the Big Nasty. Funny name, bland sandwich. Open-faced roast beef with unmelted cheese and powder-mix tasting brown gravy. Looked really tasty, but really quite bland. No salad bar either. Prefer Jason’s Deli. :(

Food wait was a little long but I’m disappointed with the breadbowl. I expected something more than just a big piece of bread with nothing in it. The company should definetly find a stronger way to sell these(i.e. putting cheese/chicken/roast beef/etc.) in the bread bowls or take them off the menu.

Middle of the road is how I’d describe McAllisters. I’ve had much better and I’ve had had much worse. I will say that they have been prompt and correct with my online orders. They have always been ready for pick up when I get there.

Food is pretty good, but 20 minute wait to get the food both times, if you are eating in or they are busy, might be understandable, but at a slow time, 20 minutes for 1 simple sandwich to go?

I love dining in most McAlisters, but this just hasn’t come together yet. Sandwiches made here are not as heartily filled as others. Inside, the service is very good, but I will never use the call in drive thru again. I placed my order by phone and showed up 5 minutes later showed to pick it up. I knew I was a little early and would probably have to wait a few minutes. However when I pulled up to the window I was told that my order had not been processed yet and was asked to come back later… not park in the pull up waiting area nor wait for the order to process, but«come back later». Rather than drive around aimlessly, I parked in the parking lot facing the drive in window, thinking that maybe the girl would motion to me when I could drive back thru. No cars came thru the drive thru the entire time I waited. 10 minutes later, I figured I would try driving thru again. My order was sitting right by the window and judging by the condensation on the glass, had been for a while. The whole time I was waiting this girl had been idly chatting to coworkers and didn’t even have the presence of mind to motion to me that my order was ready. Terrible, terrible experience.
