Dr. Meigs has been seeing my aging Mom for over 5 years. He and his amazing nurse, Molly, have handled her with kid gloves, being thorough and considerate, looking at her whole health and recommending specialists as needed. He has never even hinted at dropping her, which is especially appreciated, since she is Medicaid and I am sure his payments are at a reduced rate. He provides that continuity and consistency that senior citizens appreciate (as do family members assisting them)!!

STAY AWAY. Word is that if you are anything of a problem this doctor will «fire you». He «terminated» my friend who is nearly 80 years old. My friend has prostate cancer and this doctor simply sent him a letter telling him that he won’t see him anymore with no explanation. He had the further nerve to post this letter to my friends online chart, presumably to help other doctors blacklist him. The real problem? My friend wanted to see the doctor when he did not have an official appointment. Most Doctors do want to help find cures and/​or help heal. This one apparently only wants patients who don’t have any major problems.
