Metro Overhead Door

I had them install an automatic garage door opener at my new house and the experience was perfect! I called on Sunday, they installed while I was at work on Tuesday (I left the garage unlocked), I came home to find a perfectly functioning garage door opener and a bill that I just called and paid in less than a minute over the phone! Also, after shopping around, they had the best prices too!

Very satisfied with Metro Overhead, from the first call on a Saturday to the repair visit on Monday.
The quote over the phone was clearly explained at 165 for a single spring replacement, this includes labor — it was nice not to have someone say «we’ll see once we get there, and we’ll charge for you 20.00 just for coming out for a quote»
The phone person also clearly gave us options that we can get weekend repairs, but here is the price for that. (it was double)
The repair visit was preceded by a notice call 30 minutes before
The repair person worked quickly and explained what he was doing, didn’t try to upsell on other services or scare us into unneeded repairs — which was important because I had left my wife home to over see this while I was away at work.
They did take a personal check, and didn’t gouge for the extra part and labor needed, the bottom roller plate where the cable attaches was shearing.

Efficient. Timely. Quality fix. We ran into our garage door with a truck. Busted the lower panel and knocked it of the track. Called Metro. They had it all fixed within 4 hours. Pretty amazing. Thought this would take days to get fixed. Will definitely work with them again if needed. The repaired garage door works better than ever. I have no idea if their prices are better than the other guys — all I can say is they got the job done right.

$ 75.00 cheaper then the 3^rd highest rated guy. Came out the next morning to Happy Valley.

Used Overhead Door for my second Liftmaster installation. Once again, timely, professional, courteous and efficient. Makes one wonder why some other businesses can’t figure this out? Oh, and another awesome sub-​review. My daughter accidentally knocked one of the sensors out of sync and I could not figure out for the life of me why I couldn’t get it set correctly. I called and asked if someone could talk me through the remedy. They had a tech on the phone in mere seconds and was able to talk me through it. And the most awesomeness part not once did they question if in fact I was a previous customer, they just made it happen.

I was very pleased with my service experience. I had both of the springs replaced on my residential garage door. Something I wasn’t overly excited to have done, but it was very much needed. Look, no one gets giddy about having a garage repair, but these folks rock. Prompt and efficient service, and the prices are fair (the last repairman even lamented a slight increase). Best part — they’ll take time to walk you through what they did and how you can maintain your door and opener to prevent them from coming out as often. Highly recommend.

I had to have the sections to our garage door replaced, but had a car in the garage that could not be removed. After calling 5+ companies, Metro was the only one that was willing to repair my door with the car inside. They came out same day of my call and quoted me a reasonable price within 24 hours. Service was friendly, efficient and thorough. I wouldn’t recommend anyone else.

Gary just left after fixing the lift cables on my garage door. It was a WIN-​WIN all the way around. Getting an appointment was easy, the quoted price was reasonable and the service was complete. Gary applied wax to the wood parts and silicon spray to the metal parts. Company called to let me know he would be early. Plus, the actual service came in under quoted price. Plus, Gary was a real upstanding human being. I don’t see how it could have been better than this.

Our double door had a spring break (no, not the fun kind). I called their Aloha location, spoke to a nice lady who gave me a set price right away. They properly stated that both would need to be replaced. The price was more than fair, and they could have it fixed the same day. Also, has a year warranty.
The tech was a nice guy who knew his stuff. He even greased the whole drive which made it about 50% less noisy, that ruled. He then gave me some tips to lengthen the life of my door and opener.
Really nice people, great fast service, that’s all you really need.

one of the cables on my garage door broke. It worked for awhile, but eventually went off track, and then had to be fixed. I found Metro on Unilocal,and was impressed by all the excellent reviews. Now I am adding to the reviews. They could have come on the 4^th of July, but I decided to save some money and wait. I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to fit me in on the same day Friday the day after the 4^th. Everyone, I talked to treated me well, professional, friendly, and great service. I called and someone wasn’t available they called me right back like they said they would. They showed up right when they said would. They also were quite reasonable price wise, and i think a lot of garage door places aren’t. It’s quite clear they care about the customers, know what they are doing, have great service, and great prices. I will use them again, and am telling everybody how great they are. If you need any garage door work done as far as I am concerned there is only Metro Overhead Door.

Called these guys when our garage door cable came off the wheel; it’s really too dangerous to attempt to fix this oneself. It was 2:30 pm and I have a dozen bikes in the garage (which is stuck open) so I needed it fixed before the end of the day. They sent someone over within half hour, he fixed it and tightened it and oiled it and the other garage door as well all for under $ 100 (which is cheap compared to either even one lost bike let alone a trip to the E.R.). Friendly Michael even showed us his garage door repair scars to help us understand how dangerous fixing these mothers is. Also 90-​day warranty. Classy! We will call them again if the need arises, or the garage door doesn’t…

The spring broke on our garage door and we weren’t able to open it manually. Our cars were in the garage so we were concerned we wouldn’t be able to make our appointments that afternoon. Metro fit us into their schedule, had a repairman out within a few hours, and saved the day. Great service, very fair rates.

Awesome service… I cannot recommend Metro highly enough. They are fast, reliable and very cost efficient. A Monday morning accident (involving a Jeep, garage door and 71 Camaro) is not the best way to start a work week off. The door was ripped off the tracks but by mid morning, Mark had squished us in his busy schedule and gotten the door secured until we could replace it.
After getting 4 other quotes, their prices are very reasonable and the level of professional, customer service Mark and Alex provided is above any other. I was able to get everything I needed for the insurance company by the next day and within a week we had a new garage door. They were accommodating to our schedule so installation didn’t evolve into the «Time off Work Tango».

Fantastic experience with this company, and I’m happy to give ‘em a well-​deserved public encominum…
Needed an operator for an off-​sized garage door on one of my big barns. They handled it no problem. The biggest challenge was for them to find my place— those GPS devices can give some screwy directions sometimes, as anyone who’s dealt w/‘em knows…
Once he got out here, our guy had that thing up and running in no time. It was a thing of beauty. Such a huge time-​saving convenience! Installed and guaranteed, all for what seemed to me, to be a completely reasonable price.
What to say in sum, other than we love Metro OHD!!!
