After 11 years in the medical wilderness with an incorrect diagnosis of «auto-​immune disorder» because several internists, 3 rheumatologists, dermatologists could not figure out what I had, Dr Adler quickly diagnosed my problem. I am finally finished with years of taking potentially toxic meds: plaquenil, sulfa drugs, prednisone. He diagnosed me with «chilblain,» an old malady, but nothing requiring heavy meds. Took him all of a few minutes. So, the stigma of «auto-​immune» is being expunged from my medical records as I make my medical rounds.
