Perfect for dining before a show at the Keller Auditorium. Our first two choice restaurants were completely booked and turned us away so we felt super lucky to stumble into this restaurant. Quick service. Friendly staff and the food was delicious. So glad we found them.

The sushi is decent but nothing to amazing. The prices are a bit high for the quality of sushi you receive. One of the 3 rolls was not wrapped very well and kept falling apart. I wouldn’t go out of my way to eat here but it is very closer to Keller Auditorium which is why I needed a quick bite before a show. Mediocre sushi spot.

Great location to The Keller Auditorium! Quiet and small sushi bar with lunch specials and great saki. Gyoza is awesome! Prices are reasonable and I left full. Glad to have found it — will be back.

Fresh food and very close to the water front and many other places in walking distance! Amazing service and food. Will definitely come back many times more.

It was good. But it wasn’t anything super special. Prices were great. Service was great. If you are in the area, then check it out.

Came here last Thursday pre-show. We were warmly welcomed and got a table quickly enough. We had to wait a bit for our dining companions to show up so it started to put us a bit behind schedule if we were going to make it to the show in time. Luckily, the staff at Mika were on top of it and did what they could to get us out of there in time. Ok sushi, but great service.

Came here on a Friday night and it was completely empty. I suspect because they mainly get business traffic. It was a convenient distance from the Waterfront. Sushi was mediocre; it didn’t taste as fresh and smooth as I expected. The décor was ok. There were some aquariums with a few fish.

We stumbled upon this place looking for a Japanese restaurant that was open late so that we could pound on some sake and to snack on some Japanese food. The chef came to our table and was very personable and was trained in Japan. The food is good! Check it out when in Portland.

I really love this place. Their sushi is always very good, and the service is as well. I’ve always gone at lunch time and have never had to wait for a seat.

This sushi restaurant is located very close to Keller Auditorium. When we found this place, we were hungry and in a hurry since we had to meet someone at Keller Auditorium to watch a show that night. The service was A+, the waitress and the host understood that we were hungry and we were in a hurry. The food arrived on time and hot. Their sushi rolls were tasteful and their bento box was pretty good. I genuinely enjoy this place because the waitress understood that we only had about 20 minutes to gulf down our food and run to the theater. They were attentive and the food was not subpar. This is a good place to try if you are looking for a place next to Keller Auditorium before a show.

Favorite sushi place in the world! I live like 35 minutes away and I drive for the sushi. Friendly staff, great service, and even better food. Side note: the owner has the most adorable son who runs around the restaurant, it’s charming.

What I love about this place is that they have an online ordering system. So when it’s like 9:30PM and I’m too lazy to cook and I’m starving, I can always get a sushi fix after all other restaurants have closed because they’re open late. The staff is super friendly, quick, attentive and the price point is not expensive. The rolls appear small but whenever I order I tend to over order thinking I won’t be full and I leave with leftovers. So they are actually more fulfilling than they appear to be. I never leave this place unsatisfied!

Good location, mediocre food with fast service. Seemed clumsy and new. Would be willing to give it another chance.

Had lunch here for the first time yesterday. We were seated sort of promptly at a table. Service was good, sushi was OK, nothing to write home about. We had lunch specials B & C which consisted of a spicy tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, Philadelphia roll and Alaska roll plus a side of sake nigiri. I have to mention that the sake is $ 1.95 per piece which is on the high side. The fish was fresh, overall the rolls just kind of left me feeling… meh. They weren’t bad by any means but they weren’t great either. Just not a lot of flavor. Even the Philly barely tasted like smoked salmon. I eat a lot of sushi and there are great sushi restaurants in the area. This just isn’t one of them.

Planned my day around their opening at noon. I was going to go for a walk around the waterfront and it would have been nice to begin with sashimi. I noticed some of the mediocre reviews, especially about the cleanliness of the establishment. I got there 10 past 12, and it was closed! That resulted in my having to grab a hot dog at the Saturday market.

I was attending the opera with a friend during the ice storm. I called three restaurants right by the Keller and Mika was the only one who answered their phone to verify they would be open saying specifically they wanted to support the event. They were super nice and there were very few of us at the restaurant — all pre opera. We started with shrimp shumai and tempura shrimp which were both good though the shumai was the hero. We ordered a pile of rolls and some nigiri. I will say that their prices and fish quality are quite good — especially for downtown where you just do not know what you are going to get. We were very impressed with their Caterpillar Roll which was topped with a whole avocado that was crazy perfectly ripe. Their sake selection is small but has a good variety. And we went with their tempura ice cream for desert — oh heaven. Light green tea ice cream wrapped in perfectly crunchy sweet tempura, topped with chocolate, whipped cream and a cherry. We were stuffed and could not stop ourselves from eating our sundaes down fast.

Very mediocre sushi that lacked presentation and quantity. We ordered four rolls and were barely full after the meal. Nothing fancy here; the sushi was straightforward, no fancy sauce or special ingredients. The rolls were also very small. there’s this salmon roll we ordered that only had four pieces! Overall the food was okay. I’m not a picky sushi eater so three’s a fair rating for me. My favorite was the dragon roll with the fried shrimp & eel. The staff was friendly too(though they’re actually cantonese not japanese lol)
