I love this shoe store! The owner is great and I look forward to returning to the store! I’ve purchased several pairs of shoes and they are all very high quality. If you are a shoe lover who wants a boutique style look shop here! Very good quality! Thank you!

Miss Meers is a local shoe store. It is a small business, and probably the product of someone’s passion for shoes. I wouldn’t expect it to be a stand-in for the shoe department of a large department store like Nordstrom or Bloomingdales. The selection is smaller, but relevant and on-trend. The price range of their product selection is fair. The sales people are friendly and helpful and willing to find you what you’re looking for. I think Miss Meers is exactly what it should be for what it is. I went in on a whim yesterday and ended up leaving with a great pair of Sam Edelman booties and a pair of Camper flats.(By the way, THANKYOU for carrying Camper!!) The sales associate made it clear to me before ringing me up that they do not do refunds, only exchanges or store credit. I think this is pretty standard for a small business(but also very important that it is specified to every customer before purchasing). I love that they give you 50% off every 5th pair of shoes you purchase, that is a GREAT deal that you certainly won’t get at any of the larger chain stores. If you appreciate a carefully curated selection and take pride in supporting small businesses, make sure to pop in Miss Meers the next time you’re looking for a pair of shoes.

The selection of shoes here is okay. I am, however, more likely to buy shoes from a retailer that offers refunds on unworn purchases. I bought a pair of shoes here one afternoon, took them home, tried them on and when I saw that they wouldn’t work for me tried to return the next morning. I was told by the manager that she would under no circumstances refund my money and that her store«isn’t nordstrom.» I ended up with store credit and when I used that I actually just started shopping exclusively at nordstrom and other stores that have better return/refund policies.

Warning! Don’t shop here! They will absolutely NOT refund your money even if the shoe is unworn and within the time frame(30 days). The owner said, «It hurts my heart to not return this for you.» Really? I think she should be a character in the Wizard of Oz… she obviously needs a brain and a heart. If you find a shoe you like in this store, you are better off going to …same/better prices, order often arrives at your doorstep the next day, FREE shipping and FREE returns! Plus, great customer service and no hassles. Bottom line for Miss Meers: Buyer beware!

Miss Meers is a fashion forward footwear boutique. I’ve missed such a place at Bridgeport ever since the Shoefly closed. They’ve got lots of fashion forward brands like TOMS, Betsey Johnson, Michael Kors, Kenneth Cole, Frye, and Poetic Justice. I fell in love with at least 10 separate pairs of shoes, including some darling Poetic Justice sneakers covered in a antique rose print. They don’t carry many sizes above a 10, but the sales girl offered they can and will order any shoe in a larger size for you to try. While my current shoe shopping mission is comfortable walking shoes with good arch and metatarsal support, I did not purchase anything on this visit. However, they do carry at least a couple brands that fall into that category, as well as a full array of Foot Petal inserts. When my feet are feeling a little better, I will certainly return. There are some cute TOMS Shoes espadrilles with my name on them!
