The new owners have really made this place a good place to grab and go. The selection of foods is far better, the store is well lit and secure. The guys that own it are always good to me and my Littles. We shop here often for things like toilet paper to ice cream. Junior is set and respectful and doesn’t let the tweekers hang out in the hood. I am so glad that they moved in. It is not sketch like it used to be. They care about the neighborhood, and if there is something. That you want that they don’t have, mention it, it is usually there the next time you go back!

Mt. Scott Market is under new ownership. The place is now clean and well lit. They now carry a ton of natural and organic items as well as gluten free stuff. The owner told me that they will start carrying local produce in the next month or so. These guys rock.

If you get past the creepy atmosphere. They actually have the largest wine/beer selection I’ve seen outside a liquor store. Not much for groceries but if your looking for condiments or a pair of gloves you’ll find it. Tip: wine and beer is rather good price $ 5 for something I pay $ 8 at fred Meyers but I had to pick up a pen/paper for work and it was over priced $ 3 each I think.
