After lunch at a nearby restaurant, my wife and I wandered in to look for bargains, treasures and inspiration. I usually look for small tools or measuring instruments(calipers, micrometers, drafting instruments, etc.) for my workbench and I occasionally find classic fountain pens or items of local history. The shop was well organized and larger than it appears from the sidewalk entryway. I enjoyed exploring the cases and aisles and I did find a small item of interest, as did my wife. With the awareness that items come and go on consignment, I look forward to revisiting this shop!

I came by with friends after brunch. The store is really big, and packed with antiques. There is a selection of large furniture items. My husband picked up a hot toddy mug and vase, we already have a small collection. The bottom is stamped Irish Porcelain. Together they were $ 35. Overall I enjoyed looking around and will visit again next time I’m in the neighborhood.

You want it? They Got It!!! Located in the Great Multnomah Village, this place has any and every thing you could want VINTAGE. With a recent addition the store is a great CAVERN that seems to stretch for days. They have a huge selection of furniture, clothing, jewelry, nic-nacs, shoes, and much much more. When I say VINTAGE, I’m meaning nice stuff that’s second hand. Not just second hand. The first time I popped in I was hunting for a book to take on a long flight. There is a large corner of the store entirely devoted and packed with 2nd hand books. Not terribly on the cheap. I’m fine with this. Books never lose value to me. I was able to find the latest Ken Follet hard back. I was excited. I stopped by the other day hunting for something to add to a household project I’m doing. I wanted a letter«M» for a wall collage I’m doing. They totally had one. The lady working the counter was quite helpful and cheerful. Very nice. I’ve popped in when the owner is there. She too is great. I must always take a little glance at the jewelry and vintage clothing. So much fun.
