I’ve had consistent superb service and beautiful work, everything from changing a watch battery to adapting a bracelet. This family-owned business is honest, charming and highly skilled. Recently I brought in my mother’s hair combs from the 40s which they converted into beautiful pins so I could wear them in memory. Check out the fabulous paintings by the son too. This is a very talented family!

I work in Milwaukie and it’s been a challenge finding a place that replaces watch batteries, until now. I searched watch repair and Nisbett Jewelers was very close to my office so I thought I’d check ‘em out. Don’t let the outside of this family owned business sway you from going inside, because it could use a little TLC. But, once inside I was greeted by the son and he quickly changed the batteries for me. He also dated the batteries so the next time I’ll know how long they lasted. It’s not fancy inside either, but I’ve been here twice and read the other reviews, so I’ll be sure to go back for a ring sizing and a few other things too!

As I was seeking a jeweler for my next project… it dawned on me, «DUH», my wedding ring was made by the folks at Nisbett and I could not have been more pleased! 9 years ago I went in with 2 bands of diamonds that I totally wanted to create into something else and I was floored he saw the same vision I saw AND came through. I wanted pave’ and received pave’. All these years later I love my ring just as much as the day I picked it up. The price was great, they were great to work with and I will definitely go back. The store is a «diamond in the rough» if you will, but don’t let that fool you… definite quality on the inside! I am very fussy about my jewelry and could not have been more pleased!

I went out to buy a gold chain today for a pendant. I wanted to try a local, small business and buy from there if I could find what I needed. I saw a great review of this jeweler on another website so I decided to stop in to see what they had. Although the shop is not stocked with lots of jewelry choices, it’s a family owned business, been there for years, kinda shabby looking from the street. Nevertheless, the people in the shop are really wonderful. They not only educated me on gold chains but we managed to find the exact thing I needed for my pendant and negotiated a fair price. They don’t sell«blood» diamonds and they are the real deal when it comes to the craft of jewelers. I’m so glad to have spent my money in a family business and will always remember the kindness and sincerity of the staff.
