Food is good. I’d definitely recommend the chicken and macaroni. This place can definitely satisfy your Hawaiian pallet but not the best in town.

Best Mac salad and always a good choice for Hawaiian food! Enough for amazing leftovers the next day. They have a nice back patio.

If calories didn’t exist, I’d eat it every week. Hawaiian Lunch Plate is my jam! I always order the teriyaki chicken plate, which comes with white rice and macaroni salad. Noho’s teriyaki chicken is nicely marinated, grilled to perfection and not fatty. I like ordering it with a side of Kimchee, which is spicy pickled Korean cabbage salad. sounds weird and it’s really stinky but so good!

Noho’s is nice enough to offer free appetizers for checking in, which was a pleasant surprise. The free appetizer options are limited to spring rolls and sliders. We decided to go with the veggie spring rolls and the ono chicken sliders. The sliders come with the chicken separate from the rolls, and then you assemble the sliders yourself. They give you a healthy portion of chicken, but only two little buns. At least one more would be nice. The flavor of the chicken was great, but the chicken was a bit dry. The spring rolls were standard, greasy rolls without a ton of flavor. I wouldn’t order them again. For my entrée, I went for the pork mixed plate combo. That combo is kalua and teriyaki pork with rice and macaroni salad. The regular size is a whole lot of food… no complaints about portions here. The teriyaki pork is sweet and delicious, but also just a bit dry. The kalua pork was salty and lacking in the flavor department. I hit it with a little sriracha and solved that problem. The service was quick and super friendly. Overall, decent food and good service. I’d give them 3.5 stars if I could.

We recently had a lunch catered by Noho’s at work. I eat a lot of Hawaiian food, so I pretty much consider this a professional opinion. Mac salad is the best part of any Hawaiian plate. If you disagree, you are wrong and should leave. Anyway, Noho’s mac is just meeeh. It’s good, and covered in Siracha, it’s even better, but it’s nothing special. There are other Hawaiian places with notably better mac options. The noodles were a nice touch and not something I’ve had elsewhere. Pretty standard, but it’s nice to have options other than steamed rice(I had that too, obviously). I tried both the Korean Chicken and the Teriyaki Chicken. They taste relatively similar, maybe the Korean was a biiiiiit tastier? Both were slightly dry, but that may have been due to being transported to the west side for catering. Overall, I’d order again but wouldn’t go out of my way for it. There are better options closer to me, but if I somehow found myself in NE, Noho’s is a solid choice.

This place is a lot bigger inside than it looks from Fremont St. If you have a large crowd of people you can easily fit them all here. They have two large eating rooms and a small bar room with lower lighting and more romantic style seating. There is also a large patio in the back that is open when the weather permits. Bright yellow walls, flowers, palm fronds, and surfboards line the walls and makes for a nice welcoming environment. Wait to be seated and choose one of the three rooms or the patio based on your size of group. I enjoy the combination plates here. The kalua pork is always good. The teriyaki is nice. I like to ask for light on the sauce as sometimes it can be a bit much. The mac salad is awesome and the rice is always super moist. You can order here based on how hungry you are. Portions come in sort of regular and large portions. I always end up with way more food than I need. Regular portions have one mac scoop and one rice. Large portions come with one mac scoop and two rice scoops with a little more meat in the entrée. Food here is consistently good and I will continue to come back! Thanks Noho!

The food is great, we have been here twice now and everything we ordered was great. I expects lot love the macaroni salad. The three different portion sizes is excellent. Even the small portion is plenty of food. The price is a bit more then we can pay to eat here more regularly. We will be back!

I have been a big fan of NoHo’s for a long time. The NE location patio is perfect for a summer evening, a cold Longboard brew and some delish Teriyaki. last time we went, there was live music. A guitar player singing Tiny Bubbles, Somewhere over the Rainbow… it was great.

I had a wonderful experience for dinner, relaxing outdoor seating, amazing food, and a live Hawaiian singer playing. I had the teriyaki steak plate, it was flavorful, cooked well, and service was attentive and nice. I love how the place is decorated and next time I will be sharing some of the family style plates… they looked amazing. I recommend this place all the way.

Seriously, the best. Noho himself catered our wedding, and the food was incredible! The guests all had great things to say, the food was DELICIOUS and everybody loved it! Everything was reasonably priced(especially considering we had SOMUCHFOOD) and the staff was amazing. My only regret is that after the wedding I accidentally left the leftover macaroni salad in our venues fridge!!! Guess I’ll just have to get more…

3 vs 4 because its good cheap food but they served one dish of Korean ribs that literally could not be chewed by human teeth. Also not healthy and probably on par with Fast food A guilty pleasure. Teriyaki Chicken good. Fried pork was very tasty but comes with lots of fat. Veggies also tasty. It all comes with the same sweet sauce on the side.

The food was great but the services was lacking, the place was empty when we came in and it just seems that we waited for water and the bill longer than the food. They were friendly don’t get me wrong just wish they check on their costumers more often.

I’ve been here several times over the years. The food and service are usually decent I had a Unilocal coupon for a free appetizer from previously«checking in» at this location. When I picked up my to go order they wouldn’t honor the coupon. The employee said the coupon was only good for dine in clients. You should probably specify that on the coupon. Seemed a little shady. Next time I’ll just go to one of growing number of places to eat on this stretch of Fremont.

My experience at Noho’s was amazing. Took me right back home to Oahu. They had Hawaiian music playing, delicious pupu’s, and all the most ono Hawaiian foods. I shared the Loco Moco, Mochiko Chicken, and Spicy Ahi Poke. The loco moco was complete with a thick burger and great gravy, with plenty rice(made the right way). Mochiko Chicken was crispy, with great sauce. Spicy Ahi Poke was probably 4⁄5 stars, but it was extra nice because it wasn’t originally on the menu — just one of my favorites they said the cook can make! I would definitely recommend trying Noho’s — they have great food, service, and environment.

We’re giving 5 stars to Noho’s because is one of our favorite restaurants to visit. We just love everything about this place! The service at Noho’s is always great, everyone is always so nice and helpful, always great service. The ambience is wonderful ! We love the live music, that’s one of the things that makes this place special. The patio is gorgeous, it has a fire pit and during the summer they have the live music outside too. Drinks are always so good! Very tropical drinks, and food is always great, we love that they have the option of three different sizes. Our favorite part at this place is dessert time, because they have the best coconut cake ever! The only thing that I would change is the size portion of the rice and macaroni salad, a little small, and i like to have enough rice and salad to finish my meal. Every time we go to Noho’s we just walk out very satisfied and happy, a great service every time, great ambience, great food and drinks, great music, what else can we ask for.

NoHo’s was a must visit while on Fremont. I feel like there aren’t many Hawaiian restaurants in town so I had to explore. The ambiance is great with a Hawaiian feel everywhere you turn within the restaurant. There are surfboards hanging on the walls and the rest of the decorations just put me in a mellow mood. If you check in on Unilocal, you get a free appetizer, so keep that in mind! They limit it to just the spring rolls, which is fair. I went for the chicken spring roll and may I just say that those spring rolls are the best I’ve ever had. I don’t even really like spring rolls! It was perfectly crispy and gosh, just magnificent. It is worth the price if you ever decide to purchase it. When ordering an entrée, you have three portion sizes(prices vary) to choose from: regular(two scoops of rice and one scoop of macaroni), menehune(one scoop each of the aforementioned & less of the main item), and the blalah(funny to say and good if you want a larger portion — three scoops of rice and two of the macaroni). The #8, Phil’s Ono Chicken, caught my eye. It consists of tender chicken marinated in their homemade shoyu/ginger sauce. It’s even listed as an all-time favorite. It’s a good plate for a first-timer of the place. It was delicious! The macaroni salad was creamy and flavorful, but I wish there was more of it and of the rice. I had way more chicken than I knew what to do with it and didn’t have enough rice or macaroni to finish my entrée. That was my only complaint. All in all, I left satisfied and would love to come back to try more of their other dishes!

This was our first visit to the Fremont location and it did not disappoint. Noho’s is one of the most consistent Hawaiian food in Portland. On this visit we had the Special Saimin. It consisted of Japanese-style noodles in a delicious broth served with hard-boiled eggs, won bok cabbage, Chinese char sui sweet pork, and green onions. Look at my picture. It was filling. It’s on par or slightly above Ate Oh Ate’s Saimin. We also had the Spicy Korean Chicken, it had Chicken marinated in honey, garlic and sesame seed sauce, then char-grilled with spicy sauce. Both were beyond reproach. Service was excellent and we talked to the owner and he showed us the patio area which was getting new plants on this visit. Worth a trip even if you aren’t in the area.

NoHo’s does not disappoint when it comes to Hawaiian food and it is probably one of the best places in Portland for it. They have a great macaroni salad, a good variety of entrees to choose from, a fun drink menu and the portions of food are just right for the price. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken with some kalua pork spring rolls for an appetizer. The Hawaiian ambiance definitely adds to the appeal of the place, plus the staff are super friendly. NoHo’s is definitely one of my favorite places in the city.
