Stopped by this little café around lunch time during a weekend trip to Portland. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious! My boyfriend and I each got something different and I loved the variety in choices and ingredients that complimented each other. Friendly staff too!

Cool little corner café with lots of beer(in packs. not sure if ok to separate or can consume onsite) and a wide wine selection, so went with a lemonade. Ordered chicken sandwich but I think only the bun was freshly grilled as the chicken was cold but taste was good, nonetheless. Sadly, I witnessed food and money handling without a wash in between. Ohno!

Great little hole-in-the-wall in the West End. Don’t feel like taking the time for a sit down breakfast? Don’t feel like shelling out a bunch of cash? This is the spot. Ate here three days in a row during a recent trip. Perfect for a quick breakfast sammie on the way to see the sites. Ordered a different house specialty each morning and was never let down. Wish I had this place around the corner from me.

Best breakfast sandwich in Portland! I always go for the make your own sandwich with egg, avocado, onion, cheddar on a freshly baked bialy roll, however I tried their salmon sandwich recently and it was AMAZING! You can’t go wrong at OHNO.

This place has been a long time favorite of mine. There’s something to say for a place that far away from the Old Port to be slammed every Saturday and Sunday Morning – they must be doing something right! Great quality of food and consistency. Their beer and wine selection is always incredible for such a tiny shop. P. s. It’s one of the few non-grocery stores that you can buy Boocha!

My reviews are based solely on value. For a total of $ 11.16, I enjoyed a perfectly seasoned flank steak sandwich, pasta salad and a Arizona Green Tea. Friendly service quick preparation and a clean dive. What more could you as for for dinner I. New England? I seek out good value and good food that is unique to a market. These folks hit the nail on the head and made ‘Southern Hospitality’ seem just plain rude. Could not ask for a better quick dinner for the price. A special thank you to the Unilocalers on this one. My girlfriend was in Dallas tonight, and she steered me away from another nearby restaurant based on reviews here. I have to chalk this up to a serious Unilocal win.

On our way to Bar Harbor, we decided to check this sandwich joint out since there were great reviews. We arrived at 9am on sat and the place was already packed. Seating was limited so just get your food and go somewhere else to enjoy it. We got 4 sandwiches and the wait time for our food was prob another 15 – 20 min. Everything was made to order. I got the turkey, avocado and provolone breakfast sandwich(it tasted fresh but there wasn’t anything else that I would rave about). The boy got the spam and honey mustard Dijon sandwich(I didn’t like this one). Another friend got the same thing I got and her significant other got a breakfast with Tabasco sauce(I think it was the first item on the breakfast sandwich list).

Cool little café with amazing bagel sandwiches. We dropped in on a Tuesday morning and it was fairly busy but the staff was great and our bagel sandwiches were delicious. I believe the one I ate was called Maple Prosciutto with Tabasco. It was a classic sweet and savory combination that really worked. Its a pretty small space but it is cozy, warm and inviting. I highly recommend for the bagel sandwiches. I will need to come back for lunch sometime.

Some pros: — It’s in a convenient location — Some sandwiches are actually really yummy(we got the #4, smoked salmon with cream cheese, spinach, and capers on a bialy) — They have a large beer/various alcohol selection — They seem dog friendly! Cons: — It’s really not a hang out place, more like a get your sandwich to-go kinda place. — There’s not a lot of seating and it gets really crowded on weekends(20 minute wait for said #4 breakfast sandwich, and it’s not even cooked) — The staff has never really been friendly the handful of times I’ve been there — Some sandwiches are actually not that good(or are expensive, the #4 is small for $ 7, $ 15 for two after tax doesn’t seem worth it)

High acclaim well worth it here. I ordered the grilled flank stank sandwich on a ciabatta and got potato salad for my side. This sandwich is on par with sandwiches I had in Italy and that’s saying something! I need to come back for the breakfast sandwiches(obviously) so I’ll continue then. But if you’re in the area, absolutely come and try it because there’s more than meets the eye here.

When in the area I read rave reviews of this little neighborhood market that had phenomenal breakfast sandwich. I think there was a NY Times mention(that will certainly increase business). So on an Autumn Saturday the gf and I walked the lovely streets of Portland to Ohno! Café and had an awesome breakfast. I went with the salmon/prosciutto sandwich and it was delicious. Savory, salty, yum, yum, yum. Definitely fueled me up for the day. Would definitely recommend

Home of the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had in my life: the number one. Pro tip: ask for it on a croissant. I wish the maple to Tabasco ratio were more consistent, but the number one’s glory can not always be perfectly replicated. A fact that perhaps makes me love it all the more when it is perfect. Also: oh no café boasts an amazing wine bottle selection with really legit helpful tasting notes on the shelves.

A place so good you go back twice in one weekend visit to Portland? Yup. My husband stopped in while we were out and about on Saturday morning and grabbed himself a sandwich(I declined only because I had already devoured a donut and a half.) I did snag a bite though, it had steak and egg and delicious melty chees, and declared that we should get sandwiches from there the next day. So we did. This time we both went with a smoked salmon number, on bagels and it was outstanding. So great that in fact my husband has made it his weekend mission to recreate this sandwich(he’s getting close if you were wondering.) Doesn’t hurt that they have a good selection of craft brews and friendly folks running the place, definitely a must-stop spot for us on all future trips to Portland.

I don’t think their breakfast sandwiches are that amazing as people claimed but they are decent. I had the turkey and avocado sandwich and it was okay. Not something i’d go out of my way for.

As many know, I’m always on the hunt for a good neighborhood sandwich shop and this does not disappoint! I love that they use high quality ingredients in their sandwiches. I got the Bbq pork sandwich and it was really good but I want to try something new next time. It’s just a little place with a couple of tables and counter with stools. It’s unfortunately not near me but I’ll try and make my way there again at some point.

I will always love this great breakfast establishment in Portland, however the last time I went… I made a mistake on my end. I sincerely thought that all of the breakfast sandwiches came with egg, so I went for #6 Cream cheese, spinach, tomato, cucumber, red onion & Sriracha like I said I would in the review prior. When I got it, I was sad because of no egg, then I went up to the counter and ordered one to put in my sandwich and felt horrible! It was very acidic and I couldn’t finish the sandwich completely. I will still explore other magical and tasty breakfast sandwiches they have on that chalkboard!

Sausage egg and cheese on a bialy. Magnificent. I have many reasons to be thankful for Oh No Café. Thank you for teaching me what a bialy is. Thank you for having the best breakfast sandwiches in Portland. Thank you for being on the West End. Thank you for carrying wine, you make my life a lot easier. My only criticism is the fact you do not take American Express. It’s 2015, are you against the internet too? Hah!

Intimate little bodega that serves sandwiches and sells an impressive variety of craft beer and wine. Parking can be a minor pain, but whenever I’m passing through the West End on a weekend morning I always make a point to stop here for a breakfast sandwich. Man, are they good, especially paired with a cup of Coffee By Design dark roast, which is also available here. The #1 is my favorite. If I actually lived in this neighborhood I would get breakfast sandwiches from this place so often that I’d probably start looking like a less healthy version of George RR Martin. Ohno, I can’t stop eating breakfast sandwiches!

You must have the breakfast sandwich at Ohno Café. Try with caution, because the #1 is extremely habit-forming. The maple-glazed prosciutto, Tabasco, egg and Vermont cheddar on a perfectly grilled bagel is probably my favorite breakfast sandwich in Portland. Ohno is also a great place to grab beer or wine to go. Their selection is small but well-curated. The staff is helpful in choosing a selection that suits your taste. Ohno is a great West End spot and a perfect place to grab a quick bite to stay or to go.

I always love finding awesome places off the beaten path… Was looking to make my Monday morning less depressing by eating my standard egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, but alas, they are closed. Gives me time to write a review. Even though now I’m more depressed and my sandwich craving is not satisfied. ANYWAY, I tried OhNo! Literally at some point last week and have been back three times… Hard to find a decent breakfast sandwich in Portland, and I can be in and out in 10 minutes before work. Iced coffee is also a must, although I wish you could get a bigger size. Great selection of wine and beer, if I lived closer I would frequent for my booze as well. I think they are a little pricy… And the atmosphere isn’t super inviting. Solid 4 stars…

This was one of the most hipster shopped I visited in Portland. The restaurant is lined with craft brews and local beverages. They sold wine in this café as well. The breakfast sandwiches were inexpensive and delicious, seem to be a favorite spot for many locals. They also had a number of hot sauces you can find on your sandwiches as you see fit.
