I called today to make sure they were open and the voicemail said 8 to noon Saturday so I traveled 40 miles for a split hose on my racecar.
When I got there they had a sign «closed for inventory» with several employees looking at me when I got there through the window «like go away» with the internet I like to support the local economy, but they don’t care and all have a bad attitude with excessive prices… See ya, never again!

I have used Oil Filter Services for the last couple years. Everything has always been great…
Until today I went to have a power steering end repaired. I showed the man at the counter the end I needed replaced. The man took the hose and said no problem. I never thought anything of it since I trusted them. Never was given a price. After waiting an hour the man returned with the hose. The hose was completely rebuilt and I was given a bill of almost a hundred dollars! I could not believe a 16 inch hose could possibly cost that much. I researched a brand new hose from the DEALER for $ 9 more. I can not help but feel I was completely ripped off. Possibly due to the fact the man saw a woman and figured I wouldn’t know better. When I asked the man why the repair cost so much, he said «because of the cost of solder! Solder?!? Really? I must have paid for enough solder for the next 20 hoses to be rebuilt! It was a take it or leave it situation. I will never use them again. Customers beware!

OFS has made some very nice custom oil and fuel hoses for my race car and for a couple of friends as well. Their service is incredibly fast! Overall the pricing is fair as well and I am a very happy repeat customer.

Oil Filter Service carries all sorts of custom hoses and fittings, from quality brands like Aeroquip and Goodridge, for all sorts of machines and automobiles. I had them make some custom AC lines for me and also had them get me some quality aeroquip coolant hose. The cheap stuff that I got from some other shops lasted just a couple months. They had it all in stock so I didn’t have to wait to have anything shipped and they were able to make my hoses on the spot while I waited.
