A-OK spicy chai latte. I got the 16oz for ~$ 3.50. It had a good amount of spice while being somewhat creamy. They also top it with freshly ground nutmeg. The only thing I’m missing here is some latte art.

Serious coffee connoisseurs only lol! (I like commercial, very sweet coffee. This place is hardcore and excellent. I feel like a local)

A delightful experience! Really good coffee and friendly staff. I recommend purchasing a «suspend coffee» to pay it forward and make the day of a stranger who can’t afford a coffee.

The best latte I’ve ever had. Seriously, I’m crying over my Starbucks at this very moment. I got the almond latte which was to die for. My friends got a regular and a hazelnut and they were raving about their drinks as well. This place will be a must whenever I’m in town and I will recommend to anyone who asks!

I always feel special when I am here. Not only do they know how to make a crazy coffee order perfect, I adore that they also take flavor risks with homemade, creative syrups. Their whole bean bags to take home are game changing for my already high standards. If only I could go once a week and get my olé’ love. Seriously… this business has heart and will plan them into my route if I’m even remotely near Portland.

The best Expresso that I have ever had. I sometimes feel like taking a flight up from LA, California just to have his macchiato and flying back.

Had a large mocha– perfect balance no sweetener needed and the temp was hot but drinkable. Hey tourist from San Diego need to get some warmth. So why 4* well customer service was a bit lacking. Acknowledge me while you are preparing someone else’s drink.

I wandered across this Foodcarts today at the exact moment I had a hankering for coffee. Portland has one of the most competitive markets for good coffee and honestly I wasn’t sure if I though a coffee cart would be up to par. The man at the window was friendly and funny and immediately started bantering with me. I’m already half sold where there is good banter. I got a simple americano, 8oz cup so it would be strong and I could really taste the espresso, and a buckwheat fig scone type pastry(from Bake Shop, yum classy!!!). The coffee is excellent and smooth with a kick!!! Thank god I work right right around the corner. I know I will be back!

This is some damn good coffee. I wasn’t brave enough to try the signature latte for this month(something pumpkin and orange), but DH and I both opted for a latte. He tried a regular latte while I went for the caramel. WOW. The caramel was so incredibly good, absolutely no bitterness or burnt flavor like the national coffee chains. Flavor was absolutely perfect and the pour was beautiful. DH’s plain latte was also delicious, allowing you to taste the full spectrum of flavors in the beans. At about the same price as the big national chain, this is a deal. You can tell he really cares about the quality of the product and he was so friendly. Even compared to well-known independent coffee shops in Dallas, this place has the best latte I’ve ever had by far. We’ll be back… probably tomorrow lol.

This is a nice pod located in downtown Portland. It really stands out because it is in the midst of all the hustle and bustle of the food in that area. I ordered a sweet chai latte and it was really good! I highly recommend it during a hot day. Also, the barista was very nice and welcoming. I would certainly come back to get more coffee from this place!

This is the best latte I’ve ever had, hands down. Do yourself a favor and ask them to make you whatever seasonal drink or anything they think you should try. The lavender honey latte was so delicious, I came back the next day for another one, even though it was in the opposite direction of my drive back to Seattle.

Fantastic cappuccino. A bit pricey maybe, $ 3.25 for a small cup. But very, very good coffee.

Loved the lavender honey latte(special menu). Almond crusted croissant, not so much. Their pastries might be supplied by local bakery shop so, review is strictly for their coffee. It’s a very balanced flavor with coffee, ratio of milk/foam, and flavor that doesn’t compete with coffee. I was sad when I took that last sip. Will be back!

The Bee’s Knees really is the bee’s knees. Todd(also the bee’s knees) apprehensively let us know that this drink possessed our two favorite attributes of caffeinated beverages. «It’s not that sweet of a drink» he said apprehensively. The house made flavors meant there would be «sediment» in it, he said somewhat apprehensively. Apparently some people aren’t into that. If you are, the good news is, we bought you one. Now go buy someone else’s. Olé lets you pay it forward. Enjoy it often.

Food cart coffee? I didn’t expect this latte to be this good. I’ll definitely be back when I am in the area. It’s a craft coffee place for sure. I also had a buckwheat scone that blew my mind. Although, I dont think they bake.

Unilocal didn’t disappoint! Sought out this little gem of a coffee truck and as soon as the owner saw me eyeing up the Signature Latte sign, told me I must try it. Well mamma taught me to never argue with an expert so despite my misgivings toward grapefruit and blood orange mixing with coffee, I went for it. And it was amazing! Subtle citrus notes blending with a lightly toasted espresso. Smooth milk and appropriate amount of foam. Perfection. The only downside(if I have to be nit-picky) was the citrus peel bits in the last few sips of my latte but you know, it kind of added to the charm. And made it feel even more legit. No crappy fake-sugar and artificial sweeteners here! As someone who is allergic to corn and corn derivatives(which is used to sweeten nearly all processed food because it’s CHEAP), I can rarely have sweetened coffee drinks. Olé Latte makes their signature syrups from organic cane sugar which contributes to the high quality of their drinks and makes my belly happy. I’ll be back!

That’s how you become regular just in two days you spend in Portland. The coffee is not just great it is FANTASTIC! Lemon grass latte won’t disappoint you for sure. Finishing the drink you will feel small pieces of lemon and that’s what makes it great. Just by writing this review I want to take the trip back to Portland and grab another cup of this delicious drink. Enjoy! Don’t miss out on full coffee experience in Portland and this truck should make it to the top of your list!

When in Portland, you must join the caffeinated culture. And there’s a reason that Olé is topping the Unilocal charts with their creative seasonal lattes, chatty baristas(Todd, you’re the nicest!), and local baked goods. When I visited in February, they were offering a lemon-rosemary infused latte, which people were raving about. Instead, I went for their dirty chai(they offer 2 types: sweet or spicy, with a 6 gram sugar difference between the two). It was perfectly balanced, rich and spicy. But yes, I regret not trying the seasonal stuff. You can’t linger long at Olé, since it is a food cart, but you’ll enjoy every minute of your experience watching the barista maneuver around the tiny kitchen and chat about local ingredients and culture while your latte is poured to perfection. Quite the Portland experience for this out-of-towner! And no hipster snobbery? I could get used to this.

There are plenty of coffee shops in Portland, but is there a good coffee cart? Why yes, there is! Olé Latte Coffee is located on 10th and Alder, a few carts to the left of Nong’s Khao Man Gai. They are open daily during typical work day business hours, so it is a good spot for downtown Portland workers to stop by in the morning or while they buy their lunches at a nearby food cart. However, the vibe is different on the weekends. On an early Sunday morning, it was the only cart open in the area. My go to drink is the latte. And seeing the good reviews for it, that is what I ordered. A 12 ounce latte runs $ 3.50 here which is in line with the Seattle coffee shops I frequent. In addition to coffee drinks, they do also offer numerous pastries. Though I skipped it having grabbed a Monte Cristo nearby at BrunchBox. I was strictly here for the coffee! The raves about the latte are legit. The coffee used for the latte is bold and flavorful. Up there with my favorites in Seattle. Simply put, Olé Latte offers up a well made tasty latte. If you need a place to chill along with your coffee, go elsewhere. But if the quality of the coffee drink is most important to you, Olé Latte is a place you should seek out. It may be a coffee cart, but they churn out lattes better than most coffee shops I have tried.

Hey you. Yes, you. Listen up. Must try their freshly made latte. I had their chai latte and I am in love with it. Better yet, try their seasonal flavors latte. Highly recommend this place! I hope you give this awesome place a try. Cheers!
