Ollo Hair Salon

This review is for the makeup ladies at Ollo.
Two talented, friendly ladies (I wish I could remember their names!) came to my friend’s house to do makeup for the bridal party. They did a nice job asking each of us what we usually do and what we’re comfortable with. All of us were pretty laid back and let them do their thing, and boy did it pay off! I don’t usually wear a ton of make up so I was nervous to get it done so extensively, but this was the best $ 75 I could have spent! Not only were these two hilarious and fun, but they are SO talented. I got fake lashes and airbrush makeup. I honestly looked like a completely different person by the end of it. I can’t even tell you how many genuine compliments I got from people regarding how my makeup was «stunning.»
Thank you for the positive experience. I will recommend Ollo to ANYONE in Maine looking to get their makeup done. I plan to get married in Maine someday, and I definitely plan to pencil in these fabulous women!

These girls are the best! I found Ollo Salon when a friend of mine booked them for her wedding and everyone looked so beautiful that I decided to use them for my own wedding later that summer! Katie did my makeup and she was amazing and also the sweetest person ever. Stacey worked with me through my bridesmaid updo, two hair trials (I changed my mind a lot), and then doing my hair twice on my wedding day (I told you I changed my mind a lot!), all the while she was cool as a cucumber and so patient with me. The end result was the PERFECT wedding look and I couldn’t have been happier! I loved working with them so much that I’ll continue going to them for haircuts from now on just so I can see Katie and Stacey again! If you are looking for wonderful and talented people who will go the extra mile to make sure your wedding day look is perfect, go with Ollo :)

Seriously, the best salon ever. I live in NYC but come to Maine for the summer, so I’m only able to come here once a year, but I WISH these ladies were in New York. They are amazing! Nobody cuts my curls better than Katie. Plus they’re super fun, so we always have a great time chatting and laughing.
Also, they did hair and makeup for my wedding. They did an awesome job on me, and on my bridal party and close female family, who were a group ladies with very different ages and styles. Everyone was thrilled and looked gorgeous.
Definitely make this your regular salon! Xox
