OSU Beaver Store

I got an OSU sweatshirt as a gift from my kids. I tried to exchange it for a different size… this store would not even talk about it cuz they (my kids) didn’t give me a receipt (remember it was a gift). Ridiculous! Obviously a real Beaver sweatshirt… never worn. I’m not happy!

Walked in looking for an item on my nephew’s Christmas list, asked the sales associate, and she took me right to the child’s medium Beaver shorts. I was pleased to actually have a choice of three different styles, which was three more styles than I found anywhere else. The store has a nice selection and is compact but well thought-​out. Only four stars because ew, Beavers. I’m a Duck and my nephew is perverse.

Absolutely great customer service !!! The merchandise speaks for itself but the staff was helpful, courteous, knowledgable and just super friendly!!!

While this may not be a huge store, they have a good selection of clothing and other random items from blankets to window clings. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I called ahead to see if they had an item I hadn’t been able to find anywhere else and they had it. I drove downtown, fought with parking, strolled in and was directed immediately to my item. In and out in 4 minutes, tops. I will be back again when it’s new t-​shirt time/​Christmas shopping time. GO BEAVS!

Love this store! So many options of things. From baby to adult to your house to tailgating. Great new location too!

Go Beavs! Except when they play Notre Dame which is really, really rare, if ever and only in bowl games if that. And that was back in 2001. So I’m allowed. Plus I have lots of friends and family that are OSU Beavers, either that or Notre Dame Fighting Irish peeps with 2 weirdo’s that went to USC. So in the company of my sis in law who is an alumnus, I tagged along. Either that or I’d be standing outside on the street on my own. Out of all this time I’ve never stepped foot into the OSU store because I had no reason to but this store has been around since I can remember. It’s a well stocked store with super perky and helpful employees. I liked that. They had some really cute Nike OSU work out capris but I held back. I’ll stick to Notre Dame ones instead. I bought a really cute, soft Hello Kitty OSU shirt though. Don’t judge me. I’m an asian girl. It’s my kryptonite and I’ll probably only wear it inside my apartment and maybe walk to whole foods in them, and maybe wear them during red eye flights, maybe to happy hour on sundays :)
Plus they have Benny the Beaver halloween costumes for dogs! Pretty kewl.

I live on the West side, so when I decided today that I needed some OSU gear, I started in Beaverton. Sports Authority was a HUUUUUGE let-​down. They had a massive section of the store set up to sell little white puddles (duck shit) and a tiny section way in the back with a couple of lame Beavers items.
I tried REI next. It was pretty obvious right away that they don’t like to sell anything unless it says «REI» on it, so that was a bust. So I sucked it up and made the 20 minute drive into downtown to check out the place I should have gone initially.
Granted, this is not as big as the OSU Bookstore on campus, so don’t expect to find every little thing you’d find there. However, the selection is great. I doubt you’ll find another store outside of Corvallis with as much gear — Nike, Columbia, and the rest… high (as expected!) prices but it’s good quality stuff. I found a Nike wind breaker, a hat, and two decals for my rear window and the total was $ 105. Not cheap, but I don’t go out looking for Beavers gear all that often, so I’m willing to fork it over.
They do not offer a military discount (not terribly surprising, but I had to ask). The only way to get a discount is to be in the Alumni association, which requires a donation to the school over some amount that I’m sure I can’t afford. I feel like I donated enough through tuition!
Bottom line: Beavers fans, go buy something. You’ll feel good about it :)

I love my Beavs, so I am a bit biased in this review, but it has a nice selection of all things Beavers to fulfill my needs. While I can get some things at places like Fred Meyers, this is the store for the widest variety of shirts, hats, hoodies and jackets. Not to mention accessories like car decals, key chains, mugs and home décor.
It’s not the biggest, but everything is laid out in an easy to find manner. It’s staffed by typically friendly people who are willing to help out with anything you need.
So, in summary, if you’re a Beaver Fan, get yourself down here!

Conveniently located downtown for visitors who want to grab some beaver gear and don’t have time to get to the OSU campus. Customer service was friendly and attentive! Prices are pretty much as expected for university-​branded gear.
