Pannell Floors

We had a small job (3 9’x12’ rooms) that needed to be done in a narrow time frame. Dave was easy to work with and his installers were friendly, focused, and efficient. They removed and disposed of the old carpet and cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. They will be on the top of my list the next time we need to have some carpet replaced.
One important thing to note is that there is no show room or office to visit, so don’t
expect to drive to the posted address and browse. If you drive to the address listed above, all you will find is a residential neighborhood. Initial contact is done by phone, and once Dave gets an idea of what you are looking for, he will point you to a supplier for the carpet, and then handle the installation when you have decided on the particular product you want. The approach is a little different from what I expected, but it does serve to keep overhead costs down and that’s always a positive in my opinion.

My wife and I decided to buy a home when she was 8 months pregnant with our second child. We were going to decorate and move into our new house within 2 weeks, then have 2 weeks to settle-​in before baby came. Dave (recommended to us by our realtor) was the only contractor that we spoke with who could come out on the same day to give us a quote and work with our tight timeline.
Dave was honest and urgent in all of his communications with my wife and me. His team did a great job with some really nice attention to detail. They even went above and beyond to put our trash and recycling out on the curb for pick-​up, since we weren’t living there yet. We are very pleased with the service and results we received from Dave and his team.

I have an old rental house that was in need of some carpets. I called Dave, along with a few other carpet businesses in town, and Dave got back to us immediately. He listened to what we were asking for told us where we could get the best deal on carpet (something I double checked after the fact {he was right, by the way!}) and was able to get us taken care of just a couple of days after the carpet was ready. The rooms look great and he and his crew cleaned up nicely when they were done. I definitely will be calling Dave again when it comes time to redo the carpets in my house or my other rental! He was great to work with and quick to respond. I highly recommend him!

We needed some Capet installed at our office so we check Angie’s List and found Pannnell Floors. They came out and it was fast and priced right. So today I needed some carpet stretched at home and it worked in their schedule so they came right over and took care of me. I would recommend these guys any day of the week. Accept for Sunday, we all have to rest at some point.

Our family was getting our house ready to put on the market to sell and we were concerned about some large ripples in our carpets. Dave Pannell was recommended to us by our realtor and we called to get an appointment. He was back to me within 12 hours and out to the house within a few days.
Not only did he do an amazing job stretching the carpets, but his rates were reasonable and the job was done quickly and efficiently. Dave is a great guy and made his time in our home very pleasant. We are thrilled with the carpets and they looked great in the pictures we placed on our sales flyer!

I recently moved to an older home in Portland and needed to replace the carpeting. I called 3 installers and left messages for pricing bids. Dave contacted me within 30 minutes of leaving my message. I never did hear from one, and the other contractor took 2 days to get back to me. I was impressed and told Dave, who in turn expressed to me how important good customer service was. I agree. His bid was a bit higher than the other bid that I finally got, but decided since he was right on top of things to go with him. I couldn’t be happier. His workers did a fine job and completed the work and installation as promised. No delays, no problems, just good solid workmanship. Dave called after the installation to make sure that I was satisfied with the job. There were a few things that I had questions about and he came back out PROMPTLY to look at them and arranged to fix them. I highly recommend Pannell Floors to anyone who is in need of carpeting installation. It was a p;easure to work with such a top notch professional who cares about his customers.

Can’t say enough good things about these guys… right from the getgo I received excellent service and knowledgeable techs… do yourself a favor and don’t even bother to shop around. I have and was disappointed every time. This is my go to company from now on. Thanks Dave for doing a GREAT job.

We have had David re-​stretch our original carpet. He did a terrific job. So when that carpet was worn out we had him install our new carpet. Again an outstanding expire experience. When we moved to a new house he took care of all of our carpet needs there. He is super friendly, professional, experienced and a total pleasure to work with. He does a great job at a fair price and stands behind his work. I have referred friends and family to him and they have all been 100% satisfied with all of his work. We moved here from SF, and were looking to install new carpet in our house. Our new home came with white carpet, and needless to say with two cats I don’t do white carpet! :)
We hadn’t even closed on our house, so ordering the carpet and getting the installation set was a little tricky. I was in town and had permission for two hours at the house with the seller’s realtor. With two days notice, Dave was able to commit to the two hour window and have his installer measure for what we needed. Then I headed over to a wholesale carpet place Dave recommended and picked out what we wanted and ordered it.
With a month’s notice, Dave fit me into his schedule for installation. I was moving in on a Monday, having closets removed on Tuesday, and having my furniture delivered on Friday. His team came in on Wednesday and pulled out the old carpet and replaced it with new pad and carpet. We kept the house nice and warm overnight and Thursday, Dave came out with his team and stretched everything into place.
Dave and his team are on time, affordable, and professional. Because they did such a fabulous job, I asked Dave if he did bamboo flooring, and he referred me to someone he knows that does excellent work with hardwood floors. Being new to the area, I thought that was really kind — certainly going above and beyond.
We will be installing carpet after we build out our basement this Fall and guess who I will be calling?

I am thrilled that I found Dave. He and his delightfully polite crew recently installed carpet on our stairs and our entire 2^nd floor. They were exceedingly professional, prompt, and efficient, and, I feel, very fairly priced. Something I especially loved: Dave thoroughly explains the why and how of getting the job done both beforehand and throughout the process – I feel like I received an actual education that will benefit me in the future!
