Buyer beware of their ‘estimates’…my husband has had to return pieces twice now that Parr staff ordered based on the estimate they provided him (based on his EXACT measurements of the deck he is building). This wouldn’t be such a big deal if they didn’t charge 15% restocking fee and talk to you like you’re an idiot. They are unreasonable and unprofessional.

We build about 10 houses a year and Parr Rockwood sells us the vast majority of our supplies. Fair prices, excellent service and fast deliveries. Mat Burdick and Rob Barrett are our salesmen and we have only excellent feedback about them.

My understanding is that they are now catering to the homeowner. We ordered a load of lumber and all of the 2×4 & 2×6 framing lumber was junk. These should have gone on the burn pile not delivered to anyone!
