Pastrygirl

We asked Laura to create a pedestal sink cake to match the one in our newly remodeled bathroom for an «Open Bathroom» party; Just a small, silly event. But Laura came through and matched the photos exactly. The cake was complimented by every one of our guests, and the cake inside (chocolate cinnamon with espresso filling) was divine.

We had our wedding cake made at Pastrygirl and it was amazing. As soon as I get pictures of it I will try to remember to post them so you can see how beautiful it was. The greatest part was my husbands son loves trains, so Pastrygirl made a tiny thomas the train and placed it next to the cake. It was perfect. of course looking pretty is one thing, all wedding cakes look great, but not that many of them taste great. This one was so delicious we never wanted to stop eating it. It was champagne cake with passion fruit icing and chocolate mousse filling, I have to say I was not totally sure of it when we ordered it, but my husband was and I went along because he is a chef and i trust him. The point is that it was so good that we froze what was left of it before our honeymoon in the hopes of preserving it a little longer, and my husband, now 2 weeks later is still trying to eat it.
We will definitely be calling next year to get our anniversary cake. Thank you.
