So happy I chose to come here. I wanted to get Uncle Tsang’s (also very good food cart) but they were closed, so I decided I would give some Nepalese food a try since it is right next door. And I have to say this may be my new favorite food cart.
I’m not very familiar with Nepalese food so I decided to just try a couple of dishes to share with my boyfriend. I got an order of the pork Momos (dumplings), the chicken Tarkari Thali plate, and the chicken Roti Tarkari. The dumplings are handmade at the cart, and they were absolutely delicious! They are not fried, but I overheard from a previous customer that you can have them deep fried if you request it, which I thought was nice of them. It comes with a dipping sauce that is the perfect spice. The other two plates were actually very similar — both were chicken curry with rice, but the Thali came with dal (a soupy lenti paste) and the Roti Tarkari came with a thinly rolled flat bread. Both were amazing — I cannot express my joy as I stuffed my face. Very distinct and strong flavors, which I absolutely love. The portions were smaller than I had hoped, but since I also ordered the dumplings (which came with 6) it was the perfect amount.
Again, I don’t know much about Nepalese food, but I sure am glad I tried this food cart. Will definitely be back again.

Yummy, satisfying traditional cuisine. Had the vegetarian thali which is gf too. So glad I stopped at this place. Looking forward to getting this again and maybe being adventurous enough to try the other veg gf options :) Bottom line: no frills, but real tasting food. Yeah!

While being a relatively new food cart in our neighborhood, it’s already our favorite. The food here is outstanding — bold delicious flavors that you can’t find anywhere else.

This is a relatively new food cart serving Nepalese cuisine. I loved the roasted yam. It came with a cilantro chutney and a side of daikon salad in a delicious spicy sauce. The service was fantastic and overall I came away quite pleased.
