In a neighborhood stacked with Phở-portunity the Phở corner stands it’s ground. A clean and open floor plan, new furniture, spotless bathrooms all welcome the hungry to feel at once comfortable. As for the Phở; I found the broth to be on the sweeter side with the cinnamon pronounced at first sip. I chose beef with soft tendon and tripe, in the large. I returned the bowl empty. Great choice– will come again!

Tried it for the first time today. I can’t think of one thing to complain about. Service was prompt and friendly, had the c1 special Phó and crispy egg rolls. The broth was very good, lots of meat and garnish in the soup, a hot pot of fresh jasmine tea for every guest was a nice touch, I really enjoyed my lunch and I will be back!

Very spacious — but not comfy — venue offers traditional Vietnamese fare. This isn’t Phở Van. Crispy Chicken Wings appetizer was real good. Skin wasn’t caramelized, but rather crispy. They come out sizzling. The Special Chicken Salad was meh. Just some grilled pieces on a huge bed of cabbage. Pass. The Short Rib and Shrimp rice plate arrived cold. Another pass item. Portion was a bit small for $ 10.95. Rice was soft and fluffy, not hard like at Chinese places. I didn’t connect with the $ 3.50 Café Sua Da. Prices are higher here than at other Vietnamese restaurants. Parking is ample, and service is a bit above what you’d expect from such places.

Wonderful Jasmine tea, perfect broth and a beautiful sweet coconut milk tea made from high quality coconut milk. Friendly staff. I had a great warm bowl of phở and enjoyed myself greatly. Thanks a bunch.

Worst restaurant experience ever. The staff were unorganized and didn’t give us menus when we were seated. All of the food was undercooked and gave me food poisoning. Definitely will not recommend this restaurant. If you’re looking for a reasonable-priced Vietnamese restaurant that’s nearby, stop by Phở An or Phở Kim.

The C1 Phở is all the goodies you need. Awesome broth, fresh herbs, sprouts & peppers. Tripe, ligament, everything. And a small is plenty big. The service is great, too! Super friendly, quick and efficient. Love this stuff

First time here… I’m impressed because their Phở Bo(to me) taste almost like homemade – the way I would cook it myself! Delicious! Please don’t change a thing(hope there’s no msg?). So far, so good. Thank you, I will be coming back to try other good-looking foods you have on your menu! And, I will spread the word!

There are so many phở places in and around Portland, but not all of them are worth return trips. I was in the NE area to meet someone and decided to grab myself lunch beforehand. Phở Corner was only about 6 blocks up from where I needed to be(Case Study Coffee) and I have been having major jonesings for good phở, so off I went! Not disappointed. I can’t remember which phở bowl I ordered, but it had tripe and strips of beef. So good. The service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere wasn’t bad. The price was good for the large bowl and I was nice and stuffed. I know the soup isn’t super healthy to drink from, but I had no restraint and drank about 2⁄3 the bowl of soup. MmmMm. I will be returning when I’m in the area!

Comfort food that did not let us down. As soon as we got in town late in the afternoon we headed for Trader Joe’s to stock up on our TJ favorites that we have no access to in Hawaii. We then went out in search of Phở. My wife had a scratchy throat and felt like she was coming down with a cold or something. Phở is what she was craving. We spotted this place about 8pm and turned in to park. Phở: My wife ordered the beef combo phở and really liked the broth. At $ 8.50 for the large it was a good value. It was slightly different from the style that we are used to at our local phở shop but she preferred this. I had the stir fried tofu with lemon grass on rice. It was very good and similar to the same dish that I get at home in Hawaii. Venue: Large nicely decorated casual space. Easy parking. Service: Pleasant and helpful. This is a family operation.

Questionable Ethics. My name is Mike. They got two carry out orders for someone by the name of Mike. Other Mike got my order. I watched Other Mike’s order sit in a bag for 15 minutes while my order was being«remade.» Other MIke shows up with a torn bag that he had taken home and opened. The guy behind the counter hands Other Mike the stale bag from the counter and puts all the food he had taken home in another bag. Other Mike leaves.(sorry dude) They try to give me the other bag, I say i thought my order was being cooked fresh and he relies«It’s Okay.» That is NOTOKAY! Why would that ever be okay?

This is my absolute go to place for phở in North Portland. The broth is exactly the way I like it, very flavorful and salty. I’m a little high maintenance and ask for less noodles and extra onion and they’re always happy to oblige. My boyfriend is in love with their fried rice. When we’re feeling fancy we also get the egg rolls which are delicious! The staff is super sweet, always greeting with a smile and fast service. It didn’t take us long to become regulars! We heard there’s a string of great phở places on Sandy, but once we tried out this place we liked it too much to move on. And price wise, it’s pretty reasonable. Not super cheap, but not super expensive either. I would absolutely recommend this place. Get the phở tai, you won’t regret it.

This is a new discovery for me. I have dined here twice now and we love it. The staff and ambiance is great. The staff is friendly and we got our food super fast. They also made sure to check in and refill our waters. We had PHO both times we ate here. The broth was very flavorful and had the right amount of meat and noodles. The veggies that came with our PHO to garnish it with was abundant and fresh. I love that the noodles were not overcooked. I have noticed with some PHO places the noodles are overcooked and too soft. The price was moderate at around $ 9 for the large special bowl. I will continue to come here for the great food and friendly staff.

One of the very best phở restaurants I have been to! The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but upon walking in the interior is beautifully designed, very chic and modern with amazing staff and servers. The phở tai I had was strong in flavor, delicious, hot, and had a lot of beef in it! If you don’t like fatty meat, definitely try the phở tai soup– it had thin flavorful pieces of very lean beef, and no fatty veins like the tripe or others traditionally have. In addition to the entre, I was also treated to a nice hot tea and complimentary dessert– free of charge! I did not ask the name of the dessert, but it had a flavor and consistency very similar to tapioca pudding– it was amazing and an unexpected surprise!

Came here per the suggestion of a fellow Unilocaler. She told me that the broth here is rich and authentic and that it’s so hard to find these days. I couldn’t agree with her more. I’m definitely a big fan of the phở and service here! I was greeted upon right away by the friendly and smiling staff. Go to Phở Hung(the one on 82nd) and you will never see that. This was refreshing. There was no rush on anything and my boyfriend and I had plenty of time to browse the menu. I OFCOURSE ordered phở. They had several two option combinations but I went for the phở with beef meatballs and well done flank. The guy ordered the fried rice. Both were quite tasty and we didn’t have to wait long before our food arrived. I definitely enjoyed the hearty broth and the perfectly cooked noodles. Add in small dabs of the chili oil and you’re good to go! It can get pretty spicy, so ration well! Definitely make this a go-to spot and you’ll see the difference from this place and a lot of the other phở places in town.

Just discovered this love Phở spot. Everything I had was tasty. Nice, clean, fast service. Their tea has a little something special to it, think it’s Jasmine. Rare to find on Sandy but they even have a parking lot. Perfect for your phở fix. I’ve only gone once so far but know I’ll be back.

Solid phở with broth on the sweet side. The noodles didn’t suck, they were decently chewy, not mushy or «breaky»(sometimes the noodles aren’t soaked in hot enough broth or were made poorly and just break into pieces). The service was super friendly and they try really hard to please. The place was clean and it looks like they attempted to look really nice for a phở place. We also had the spring rolls with fish sauce dipping sauce, which were fine. I appreciate that they gave enough tea to sub for the water with my meal. The size of the restaurant is about medium, not small but not huge. We came on a weekday at late lunch time but I imagine coming during lunch rush hour, there would still be no wait. The parking lot is kinda small and awkwardly spaced but perfectly doable. I can’t say much more about this place. It’s clean and the service friendly. The phở is solid but nothing special.

If you come here just get the Phở! Or the bun Bo hue. Stick with wet noodles. I took my mother here who is very very picky, being that she has cooked phở through many restaurants and can tell if there’s too much msg. Impressed with the home made broth advertised here we ordered the special and a side of pepper salted squid. I suggest not getting anything fried here, their specialty is phở. The squid was meh… Small portions especially for so much $$. When our phở orders came they were piping hot! My mom and I downed our bowls, you can definitely tell the broth was made with care because it is so clear with a golden hue that mixes with everything(its not fat but liquefied marrow from the bones). We shall be returning for that soul satisfying bowl of phở! Almost as good as home made :)

What’s the best time to get Phở? Thanksgiving morning, DUH! I highly recommend Phở for breakfast and Phở Corner is open 7 days a week from 9AM on. You just think about that the next time you enter hour 2 of your brunch wait at Tin Shed or Screen Door, k? The staff at Phở Corner are so sweet and friendly. We were the first people to show up and they kindly sat us and put music on for us. The ambiance is nicer than your average Phở restaurant– no harsh lighting or semi-depressing atmosphere here. Their house special combination Phở has top round steak, flank, lean brisket, tendon, tripe, beef meat balls and egg. Small bowls are $ 7.50 and large bowls are $ 9.95. The broth is tasty and full of flavor on its own, but obviously improves with giant squeezes of sriracha and hoison sauce. This stuff is completely delicious paired with an avocado shake or Thai iced tea, which are made perfect and not sickeningly sweet. I know it’s different to think about Phở for breakfast, especially on Thanksgiving morning, but give it a whirl. We were pretty darn happy about this decision.

Rainy day. Hot soup. Warm tea. One semi sick individual. All the ingredients I needed to make me feel better and to warm my insides, well minus the sick part. I did a little Unilocal search in my area and found a few phở places and chose this one because it wasn’t a far trip for me, in the rain, on a bicycle. I need a car. The phở was great. C15 was top round and flank. Great broth, green onions, onions, plenty of noodles and of course the accompanying bean sprouts, lime, jalapeños and greens. A simple tea was brought out and even a dessert of mung bean paste, coconut milk and tapioca pearls. It wasn’t too sweet and was actually pleasant. The food was some of the better phở I’ve had here and I do feel better having eaten. Interesting mix of elevator music, lite jazz with some Simon & Garfunkel and the Godfather waltz thrown in. I will return. Enjoy.
