This place is awful! Do NOT go here. I bought a phone for $ 200 dollars, then needed to return it within their refund policy time period, two weeks, and they said they had changed their policy over the holidays and could only buy the phone back for $ 35. Total scam artists. Even though they were selling the exact same phone for $ 200 they told me on e-bay it was selling for $ 75. So basically, they admitted to ripping me off. The guy at the counter was so unhelpful and rude.

If your a fan of getting screwed over and swindled go to this place. Guy offered 2 $ at first for a HTC One, then settled at 5 $, could have got more for it but got tired of listening to his fake friendliness while he kept fishing to see how low he could undercut me. It Wasn’t even enough to cover gas going there but was worth it just to get a glimpse of their business ethics. Go to your local pawn instead. Should be able to rate negative stars. I’d give them a negative 3 stars.

I called these guys wanted to know the price on galaxy s5 and s6 repair, and the guy kept saying«um» and telling me they don’t have parts for it, then told me to go to another repair shop, and I asked when will they have parts and he told me they don’t do those repairs. Sounded very unprofessional, didn’t have his story straight, either they don’t have parts or don’t do the repair? I don’t know but I wouldn’t trust these guys with my phone.

Excellent place, great service, really knowledgeable salesperson. I’m with Syrena – in that I am waiting out my Verizon contract and don’t have to be their bitch anymore. Thank you, PhoneXchange, for the great inexpensive phone. This is my third purchase with you… :)

Ryan at the phonexchange is awesome sauce. Was extremely helpful and present. Will definitely always be going here for any of my phone needs and will continue to recommend people to do the same!

Drive down to the store Monday at 2:00, nice bright neon open sign, open sign hanging in the window, I even googled it to make sure they were open. Get out of my car, doors are locked, no one in sight. Poor form! Bad bad bad! I was ready to spend some money too.

Phone xchange is awesome! I’m so thankful that I don’t have to be verizon’s bitch anymore and I am contract free! I got a great little phone that is 4g and does everything better than my last phone. Ryan was super helpful and really knowledgeable and he was certainly very fair. They have a 14 day return policy which is similar to verizon. It’s like, what are the choices… I can sell my soul to a 3 year contract, pay outright $ 600 for a plastic piece of crap, or find something hit or miss on craigslist that doesn’t come with any kind of warranty. I feel pretty confident that I got a good deal here.

I bought a phone here and it wasn’t running great and they backed up their product and swapped it out. I use to always get my cell phones off Craigslist but I will continue to shop here instead because of their satisfaction guaranteed policy

Within hours of posting my review, I was contacted by the Danny C, the owner, who profusely apologized for their mistake(caused, in part, by a very unusual snowstorm in the area) and pledged to resolve it promptly. I received my check within two day accompanied by another apology. My kudos to you Danny, for taking charge of the issue, owning the mistake and making it right. Now that’s customer service!

Worst customer service I’ve seen in a long time. I walked in with a smile and within a few seconds the guy was talking about how he reserves the right to refuse service to anyone… what a jerk! The guy spoke to me like I was a four year. I worked in IT for several years. I’m not an idiot. It’s not your store policy I have an issue with, it’s you treating me like I’m a second class citizen.

I was just in there today, because my girlfriend’s phone, which I purchased used at PhoneXChange a little under a year ago, wasn’t functioning. Dustin, the co-owner, is a great guy. He spent about an hour with me, helping to transfer all of my girlfriend’s 700+ photos to her memory chip, and then the phone worked perfectly. Dustin knew some key things to check first. I offered to pay him some money for his time, but he insisted that that wasn’t necessary. Anyway, if you need a great used phone, go here first. They’ve been around since 2009, when there were only a couple of used cell phone stores in the Portland area. Now, according to Dustin, there are over 25 and last year they won business of the year for their type of store. Great business, very ethical, very helpful. I give them 5 stars. I’ll definitely be back and I’ll refer others to them as well.

I bought a used cell phone here, it worked out fine with one caveat: I was told it was unlocked, but it seems it was in fact locked and I had to spend $ 14.95 to unlock it. I did not contact the shop to make this right, and this may have been an honest mistake, so I’ll go with 3 stars. Otherwise, the owner seemed to know what he was talking about and the selection was decent, and I think the prices were fair, as far as I could tell. The owner was courteous to me, but clearly he doesn’t care to waste time with people he considers difficult. Check the website for a discount coupon.

We found this store through an ad in craigslist and we actually brought two phones. We did not want another contract to get phones free just an upgrade. The sales prices are very good and definitely according and very compatible to the current prices on eBay or craigslist but here you get way better service. Dustin seriously knows everything what there is to know about all cell phone providers and his selection is great. I would go there anytime again to get another phone instead of getting into another contract with any carrier. And be realistic, you are buying a used phone but at least you can see and try it and if there are any further question Dustin is always there to help you. His customer service is great and if you are looking to upgrade your phone –this is the place. He also takes donation for phones for the local Battered Women’s Shelter.

Personally I thought the system that goes on here is ridiculous. I paid over $ 300 earlier this year for my phone. I wasn’t a huge fan of it, so I switched back to my old one, and wanted to sell the newer one, because well… I didn’t need it anymore. From the minute I walked in, something felt off. After a lengthy conversation with my cell phone provider(Which I fully understand) to make sure the phone wasn’t lost/stolen etc. The man looked up the selling price of my phone on CRAIGSLIST. Really? He began to tell me that there is one for sale for $ 40 on CL and since that’s where he sells most of his phones, he’s going to have to go with that price, and only give me half. So I got $ 20 for my $ 300, like new cell phone. Now I understand I’m not going to get anywhere near $ 300 back, but $ 20? Come on? When I got home, I was curious and looked at CL myself, and yes… there was one for sale for $ 40. There was also over 10 ads, for my exact phone/carrier at $ 120-$ 180. The $ 40 one was being sold without a charger, and had some wear and tear on it. I contacted the seller, and was told that it was out of pure desperation that he was selling it for that low. He needed to pay bills. I will NEVER again go to this establishment for help with a cell phone, to either buy, or sell. Not if they depend on people on CL for prices that they’re going to offer their phones for. They should have a more reputable source for looking up the price of used cell phones. I was completely robbed. Granted… I didn’t HAVE to let my phone go for that price, but honestly, I’ve never done this before, and he seemed sincere. Plus, I NEEDED the money. *Sigh* one of those things I will forever regret doing. But I don’t want someone else to make the same mistake I did.
