Place was very hot, and was out of much of the beer and bottles. Service was OK but not very attentive. Pizza was cooked perfectly but simply lacked in overall flavor. This is not a homemade sauce. Add some romano cheese.

A big shout out to Michelle, Liz, Molly & all the other fabulous Pizza Mia staff for an amazing job hosting the 2nd annual Portland Int’l Raceway Racer Happy Hour presented by Lucky Dog Racing League. We can’t wait to come back next year! As a SF Bay Area-based company, it’s worth the plane trip just for the pizza… we need a Pizza Mia down here! The staff is beyond friendly, the pizza & salads are off the hook, and the craft beer & spirits offering is top notch.

I was recently at a nearby hotel, and convenience was the reason for choosing Pizza Mia twice. Had I only visited once and ordered pizza, I think my review would be 2 stars at the most. But here goes… First trip: I ordered the Fish N’ Chips for lunch, which were surprisingly some of the best fish n’ chips I’ve ever had(and I’ve had my share). The cod was perfectly crispy and juicy, and the fries were great. I would absolutely order these again! Who knew a pizza place could have great Fish N’ Chips. $ 13 for the dish, I’d buy it again. Second trip: I couldn’t go to a pizza restaurant twice and not try their pizza right? Well, I should have stuck with the fish. I got the combination pizza, which consists of pepperoni, italian sausage, mushrooms, and black olives. I was not impressed. For a place with a classic brick oven to bake their pizzas, I was expecting much, much more. The dough was very flimsy and chewy(except for the rim), and quite frankly it was nothing to write home about… It was extremely bland and overall gave the pizza a bad rap. The toppings(pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, olives) were nothing special; they tasted like very cheap toppings that were not fresh by any means. In fact, the mushrooms and olives both tasted similar to those of a can. Lastly, the price is ridiculous on these pies. For my combination style pizza, it was $ 21 for a 12 inch or $ 24 for an 18 inch. $ 21FOR A 12INCHPIE?! Come on! With the cheap ingredients that I tasted in the entirety of this pizza, I can’t believe they get away with charging this price for this low quality pizza! Overall, based on two visits, I would simply go back for the Fish N’ Chips, not the pizza. I’d consider trying other items on their menu, but I don’t see much value when a pizza restaurant can’t even produce anything more than a very mediocre pie at a ridiculous price.

Ate here again last night! Even better than night before. Had«balls in a bowl» for an appetizer. Some of the best meatballs I’ve ever had. Grilled pesto chicken sandwich, fries. Silly good. Service from Michelle(bar) as good as it gets. I am not an investor in this restaurant but I wish I could be.

Surprisingly great lunch in an unassuming strip mall. The chicken pesto sandwich and fries was outstanding. The fries had a sort of garlic almost truffle salt taste which was awesome. The sandwich was large and fresh on really good bread, and had been oressed to crispy perfection in a panini press.

My husband and I stopped by after running errands nearby for a quick bite to eat around lunch time. The place was decently slow at the time, which made for a peaceful and enjoyable environment. We ordered fountain drinks, the loaded nacho appetizer and a slice for each, with two toppings of our choice(their lunch special). Service was absolutely outstanding! Our waitress was quick to greet us, refill drinks and answer any questions we had promptly and without complaint. I was very impressed(having been manager in a restaurant before, haha) to see that she also kept herself very busy while also paying very close attention to her customers. The open view to the pizza oven is fun to watch, so it adds to the already exciting environment the place offers! Price was perfectly on point, I would definitely recommend to other people.

Great pizza and even better staff! Stayed at the nearby Courtyard and conveniently walked over to grab a quick bite. I walked in a stranger and left feeling like one of the family. Hugs and laughs with great people and great food in one sitting. Keep going Pizza Mia! I will be back next time I’m in town.

I stopped in for a bite while staying at a nearby hotel. The service was great and the atmosphere was pretty average. I had a beer at the bar and a meatball sandwich to take back with me. The food was decent but not inspiring. I’d be on the fence about going back. The convenience might tip the scale.

This is a review by a vegetarian 2.5 stars Pretty greasy but acceptable as greasy afforadble pizza. Probably won’t revisit. Service was good. I suppose if I had a game at the sports complex and was looking for spot afterward that served drinks and pie I’d consider it.

Was it the best Italian I ever had, no, but it was pretty good. Price wise it wasn’t bad but the portion was a little small. Service was good and the beer was cold. When you look at other places in the area, I pick these guys hands down. I will be coming back!

We had the large meat lovers special pizza and it was good. Crust a little thinner than we like and didn’t have our usual toppings we like but Michelle went over the top to make things great. Cold beer and kept it coming.

I like the pizza and service is good. I’m always surprised when I order take out during the day it’s empty inside but it’s such a low key cool spot. Maybe it cracks at night time. Anyhow the price is moderate, we paid $ 44 for two huge pizzas. Fed 3 adults and 2 kids with a couple slices to spare.

Just an average, over priced place. Stopped in because a friend said there is a good pizza place in the area and figured this was it. Staff was okay enough once she stopped texting on her phone. Sitting at the bar I asked that she change the TV channel from Fried Green Tomatoes but she never bothered to ask if there was a particular channel I wanted and switched to a channel showing that stupid Dodge Ball movie. Eventually she decided she wanted different entertainment and plugged her phone into the stereo system so she could listen to the country music she likes. Food(meat lovers pizza with pineapple) was less than average. $ 24 for a ‘so so’ medium pizza was easily twice what it should have been. Didn’t care for the dough — very thin and limp. For me this was a ‘one and done’ place.

I almost feel bad writing this review because their food and beer selection is actually pretty good. I have been here twice and have had both the Chicken Pesto Sandwich and some Pizza. Both were average to above average. However, both times I have been in to eat they have been out of certain food menu items and at least two of their beers on tap were out and not being replaced that day. This actually isn’t all that big of a deal to me. What has bothered me about this place is the juke box. I know that this establishment does not control what is played and is not liable for what comes on. But, it is early November and all of the songs played on the juke box were either bad Christmas music or bad Country music. When I decided to change the music to something that I enjoy my song was cut short and the song turned back to Christmas music. I asked the server why my song was cut short and she explained that her sister had cut my song short from her phone app. I had paid enough money to hear four songs and only got to hear half of one before it was turned off. The server did not apologize and her sister left the restaurant shortly after(with her music still playing). While I realize this sounds childish, it did ruin my dinner experience enough to not want to come back so I give it two stars.

Terrible service. Was getting a take out and it took about 25min! Pepsi was flat. Not sure why you need a waitress when she spends fine looking at the cash register instead of taking orders and making cash!

Ok… Let me be fair by saying the pizza was really tasty, once we got it. It just took forever to order, our server was working very hard and she was busy so I can’t knock her for that. She was nice but just not very attentive. Luckily, we had the jukebox and pool to occupy us. I’m not really in the area too often, so I probably won’t be back. Maybe, it was an off night for Pizza Mia. We were starving and maybe I was a bit cranky when I started this review so I will say that the food was good once we got it. If you are the in the area and want a good pie, this isn’t a bad place to stop. Just don’t go completely ravenous like we did.
