I worked near this location for almost 5 years and would stop here 1 – 3 times per week, usually during the lunch rush(between 11:30am-1:00pm) During lunch time, parking can be frustrating. Plaid Pantry/Subway shares a lot with a Chinese restaurant and a couple other businesses. Some of the parking spots are painted/designated as Plaid Pantry/Subway 10 minute customer parking, but they still need more. The employees here are usually very nice. The layout of the store is HORRIBLE. This tiny little store with a Subway inside at the back was not designed to accommodate so many customers at the same time. The customer line for Subway wraps around the aisle by the chips and soda making it a tight squeeze for customers trying to walk past or to access items on the shelf. And then you must go to the front of the store to pay at the Plaid Pantry cashier counter. Plaid Pantry and Subway customers wait in the same(usually very long) line to pay. Frequently, the line wraps up-down-and-around more than one aisle.

This place is always shady and I only stop if I have too. There are a lot of shady characters hanging around and I don’t feel safe stopping there especially at night. But some things in OR are much less expensive than in WA and this is right across the river, so its close.
