Right across the street from the Portland Art Museum, this non profit gallery, is a great avenue for local artists. And the artists they represent are compensated for their work moreso than any other gallery in Portland.
Everyone except for Jennifer is a volunteer and only work 1 to 2 days a week, and art work rotates in and out all the time, so don’t expect everyone to know everything about everything in the gallery. They do their best, and its awesome!
This is not a gallery that caters to ALL artists in Oregon and SW Washington. A lot of the work is rented out to businesses, and the people who buy work from here are more often looking for something that coordinates with their couches. (BUT of course, you can come across a couple intriguing pieces.)
This is a great amenity for members of the PAM as well.
