This review is about the «Inside the Score» concert series.
This series is a wonderful blend of great music and education. I had the pleasure of seeing Beethoven’s 7th with conductor Gregory Vajda. The great thing is that Gregory gave us incites into the piece itself, Beethoven, and the musical style and connections. For someone who is usually out of his element at the symphony, it was awesome to learn about the piece and then hear it.
The series starts again with Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4 with conductor Carlos Kalmar Sept, 28th. Tickets are as little as $ 10 for students and $ 15 for the general public. I suggest you get your ass to the symphony!
