First time patient at this location. Was charged twice as much as quoted. Dr. did not take time to read my patient history… misdiagnosed my condition and recommend unnecessary CAT scan and MRI.
Beware.

I would give this no stars, as I could not even get an appointment! It was always «someone will call you back». My 88 year-​old mother, who I was making the appointment for, called 3 times, I called 3 times. First time the receptionist acted appalled that no one called her back. But then she didn’t call me back after assuring me she would call back before 5. When I called her, she acted rude and annoyed. Ha, they must not want clients if they can’t even call them back to make a freakin appointment! 0 stars for them. Took her to Wilson Ear Clinic, excellent care and no problem making the appointment!

This is clearly a very disorganized office. The front office staff were very friendly, though.
My appointment with Dr. Clelend-​Zamudio was… interesting. I found her bedside manner very off-​putting, as she spent most of her time telling me how everything that I was doing was terrible. Which may be true, but the delivery could use some work. As she is telling me I need a CT scan to check whether my issues are sinus related, she tells me that another patient had the same thing done and found tumors. Not exactly comforting! She tell me that it will take 3 – 4 days to get pre-​approved. After two weeks, I call to check in on the status. They tell me that they are short-​staffed and I am next on the list to get processed. I am finally approved almost 3 weeks after my initial appointment, and I schedule the scan for the next day.
The scan was very fast and easy, and the technician tells me that he will send the CD of my scan to my doctor within 45 minutes (they are in the same building). I call the doctor’s office to find out next steps, and the very nice receptionist tells me that the doctor will review the scan very quickly after it comes in, and someone will let me know the results. I call almost a week later and the doctor hasn’t even looked at the scan yet and they will not estimate when she might.
If you are looking for a doctor that is not abrasive and understaffed, I would not recommend Dr. Cleland-​Zamudio. I plan to find another ENT after I get the results of the CT scan.
UPDATE: Three weeks later… the ENT calls and tells me that I have a deviated septum and need surgery to fix my issues. This doesn’t seem right, so I go to another ENT (Dr. Maxwell Furr at PDX ENT) for a second opinion. Within a few minutes, he tells me that my issue is actuallly TMD (or TMJ) and that I need to talk to a dentist/​TMJ specialist, and that surgery is completely unnecessary. I have followed his advice and have had much improvement since then. Glad I didn’t follow Dr. Cleland-Zamudio’s advice and get unnecessary surgery that wouldn’t have fixed my problem anyway.

This was one of the worst experiences I have had with a medical office, both in quality of care and in billing.
I called this office to get a rate on a laryngoscopy. I was given a rate, and they said that it would not cost more for the visit unless we did something else. I called two more times to verify this cost, and it was assured. (I so wish that I would have gotten it in writing via an email).
I went in for the treatment. Dr. Cleland-​Zamudio tells me that I need to take Prilosec ever day for the rest of my life (I was in my mid-​thirties) for an issue that I have since resolved by simply following the anti-​inflammatory diet for a month.
Then the bill comes. It is 2 times higher than our agreed upon rate. They say if I pay it quickly, I can take off 25%. But that is still hundreds of dollars more than we had agreed upon, and much higher than the next bid up that I could have taken instead of going here. I wasted time trying to speak with their billing department, since they just diverted me to some middle-​man who told me that they had their hands tied and I better just pay it or they would need to report me.
Such a scam. DO NOT GO HERE. There is better medicine in this town, and higher quality service from both the doctors and the offices.

My right ear was getting increasingly clogged… eww, I know. It was getting to the point where I was actually having some trouble hearing. I made an appointment to see ear, nose, and throat specialist Suzanne Cleland-​Zamudio. I decided to go here mainly due to convenience of location. Sadly, there was a lack of ENT Doctor reviews on Unilocal to help.
The office is inside one of the Legacy Emanuel Hospital buildings. I thought this would make it harder to locate, but really this was not the case.
The front office staff were really nice and made some small talk with me while gathering the mound of new patient paperwork I needed to complete. After I completed the required paperwork it wasn’t long before they called me back to a room.
Doctor Cleland-​Zamudio was super nice, really efficient, and made me laugh a few times. This is important for me when I go into a doctor’s office. It turned out I did just have some impacted wax in my ear and it was not too awful for them to clear things up for me. After they got all the gunk out everything was SO LOUD. It was amazing really.
If I ever need my ears cleaned again or have any other ear, nose, or throat issues I will be stopping by to see Dr. Suzanne Cleland-​Zamudio and her staff again.
