We were beginners and patient Mike took the time to educate us on what products were available and how each product should be considering in meeting our financial goals. He made us feel we were as important as his regular customers. That means a lot to us. We will be back. In fact, we plan to make future investments part of our monthly budget. Thanks Mike. Update: We never made it to the end of the month before showing up at Mike’s door again. And, again Mike helped us through the decision-​making process and, again, he treated us like VIPs. Mike was straightforward, informative, and balanced when I took in a collection of old silver coins that I knew little about in terms of value. He was willing to do the counting and cataloging on the spot, and made a couple of phone calls while I was there to compare how some other dealers would value the silver. My experience was enjoyable, fascinating and profitable!

Mike called me this evening, which I appreciated. He made his points, and I made mine. Nothing about my experience or review was intended to suggest he was taking advantage of his clients. Among the things I like was his business has weekend hours; the point I made was, relying on his website & traveling in, only to find it isn’t current, was frustrating. As a one man shop, I get it. Probably best to call ahead for raw metals.

This review is a little later than I intended, but better late than never. Mike helped us out with some old coins. We knew nothing about this industry & what we found online only confused us more. However, we did do some local price shopping & his estimate was the best we received by far. He was even willing to give a rough estimate over the phone so we had an idea of what we had & whether or not to bother with the drive. He was fair, honest, & patient with us. His shop is clean, quaint & felt very safe. We would definitely make use of his services again. I highly recommend him.

I took a small jar of inherited silver coins in today and I am happy with the experience. I took them to a another coin dealer first and just wanted to see if I could get a better deal here — and I did! It wasn’t a whole lot better but definitely worth the drive.
I really appreciate that he opened up the shop for me on a day when it’s normally closed and he took the time to carefully look at everything and even shared some tips on selling one coin I decided to keep on ebay. Excellent customer service.
My experience is that this is an honest place that will give you a fair price. He said he usually pays more then the competitor I went to first and that turned out to be true.

I inherited a collection of old silver dollars and old gold coins from my late grandpa. I shopped around and they gave me the best offer for the whole collection. I remember as a kid gramps would show me his collection so there was some sentimental value but more then anything, mike made me feel comfortable.

I am new to the whole buying gold and silver scene, yet since I am a woman I did my research first. I don’t want to be treated like an idiot buying a car. I went here because of the good reviews and the bad experience I had at other places I will not mention :/​this place is clean, comfortable and the guy that was working there that day was super knowledgeable and I didn’t feel like I was being pressured or stupid! I highly recommend at least stopping by here and checking it out before you buy anywhere else. And from what I looked up and heard from other people, I got an amazing deal. I will definitely keep buying here.

I stopped by today to sell an assortment of old silver coins and had a great experience. Mike is a friendly, well-​informed, and conscientious dealer in coins and precious metals. We were able to quickly work out a very fair price for my coins without any hassle at all. I’ll happily go back to either sell or buy precious metals next time I’m in the market. I also really appreciate that he’s open on Saturdays, unlike many other similar businesses.
