Portland Tire Center

Whoa! I can’t believe these guys have no Unilocal reviews yet! I went to them in part due to their positive ratings on other websites. Hmph.
The service (and price for my item) here was fantastic! I had to get a single tire replaced after shredding one on a curb. I called 6 or 7 different places, and Portland Tire Center had the next lowest price beat by almost $ 20. Wow. The owner, Bill, helped me both on the phone and when I went in the next morning for the tire. He was beyond personable! He recognized the author I was reading and we had a nice 10 minute chat about business and food :) I was in and out in less than an hour. His wife and him own another tire shop in Yakima, and live between there and Portland– I really appreciate that you can see that he’s a business owner who has worked hard to build what he has and continues to! I’ll definitely be going back there for any of my tire needs and recommend them to everyone. I’d much rather support a business like this than a major chain, and with prices and service like theirs, it’s easy to do so. Check em out.
