Clean and well organized store with adorable selections of baby carts, pacifiers, clothing, and more. Many friends are having babies and felt it was a good time to look around for presents. Most designs were either pink or blue, and didn’t find too many neutral colors.
I was also looking for bunny items, but only pink blankie and rattle that was too heavy for young infant. So I walked out empty handed, but it always makes my heart warm and fuzzy looking at baby items. Price is in bit of expensive side, but most were of organic and safe BPA free products.

Came here last night looking for a Christmas gift for my infant niece. I definitely found a lot of nice things! Ended up getting her a soft blankie and Jellycat rabbit.
My toddler son was with me and going a bit wild, he kept wanting to play with all the toys and books. One of the women working decided to entertain him while I browsed. She got down on the floor with him, and they were looking at this Eric Carle cardboard cutout kit for building animals. My son had dragged it out and didn’t want to put it back, so she was going through all the animals with him and talking to him. It was really sweet of her and helpful! We ended up buying it, of course.
I thought things were a bit expensive here, but then I checked prices on Amazon and they were the same! I’m sure we’ll be back.

I’ve been shopping at Posh Baby for years, and either they’ve changed management or hired people who don’t have a particularly friendly attitude toward consumers (or both), and I vowed after my trip today that I will never go back in there. I came in looking for a bottle I used for my son, which they didn’t carry anymore. They gave me misinformation about the bottle having been discontinued, which I countered (correctly), and they proceeded to badmouth me behind the counter within my earshot, wondering aloud why I didn’t just buy the other brand which none of them had bothered to come around the counter and sell to me. In fact, they didn’t try to sell me anything or help me at all after they didn’t have the bottle I wanted. With this kind of service, how can you support local? I’d love it if someone who cared about customer service took this back underwing (though I’ll never know because I’m never going back).

I have been in there several times and ignored when I was looking for things for my son. I should have taken that a sign not to go in again but shame on me. I was looking for a lightweight stroller for traveling for my son on our trip next month they showed me the Mountain Buggy Nano. The sales associate guaranteed me that for sure they would have them in stock 2 weeks from now and that they always have them in stock. I went there two weeks later and they weren’t in stock at all. They had the blue floor model which another sales associate stated that they cannot sell. The sales associate stated she can ask the manager and see how long it would take to order from the company and she would call me with an answer. I never received a call waited a few days and nothing. I then go in because I haven’t received the call and the price went from $ 199.99 to $ 249.99 I explained my story to them and asked if they could honor the price they stated just a couple of days prior and they stated they cannot that the strollers are the new models and are more expensive. I would have paid the $ 50.00 extra if the store had great customer service and wasn’t so rude and snobby. I had my husband check today if they would honor the price (just in case if they had something against just women) the sales associate said its so popular and that’s why they raised the price.
#1 Get your facts straight on raising your prices instead of 2 completely different stories. I also called Mountain Buggy Nano and spoke with a customer service rep who stated that they haven’t had a change in their models that they have been sending out. So please be truthful to your consumers.
#2 Don’t have your sales associates guarantee that you will have something in stock always when its not true.
#3 Be nice towards your customers don’t have an attitude and don’t shrug them off when they have problems and say you cannot help offer solutions. (That makes them stay local and loyal and keeps you in business). Instead of purchasing through somewhere like Amazon.
I always try and buy local and wanted to give them another chance but I rather spend my money at somewhere that is honest, not hiking prices in a matter of days, treats customers with respect, works on issues or even offers an apology for being told so many conflicting stories.
I learned my lesson and will never spend my money in there again. I am spreading the word as well. What a shame!

We purchased a stroller here last week. Posh employees assembled the stroller and said everything was good to go. The first time my wife pulled the stroller out and went to open it, it broke. Instead of taking the stroller back and giving us a new one, they referred us to the manufacturer to get it fixed. Pretty disappointing to spend $ 525 on a stroller, only to have it break just a few hours later. Then to make matters worse, having the store tell us they wouldn’t help whatsoever. Will most likely never shop here again. No customer service whatsoever.

Yay I am a fan… lol… Yes a fan of the nice baby stuff they have. But there are a little to rich for my pocket book. Friendly staff that knows there product and what they have and dont have. all in all nice but to much for my wallet.

Posh baby carries most of my favorite brands.
They have a great selection of high end baby items like cribs, strollers, car seats, rocking chairs, toys, books, blankets, bottles, dishes, and fantastic clothing and accessories.
I love that Posh Baby carries many organic cotton brands. My little ones have sensitive skin, and soft breathable cotton clothing makes a big difference. We have come to love some brands that we’ve only found here like Loved Baby Organic Cotton, and Paige Lauren. They also have a good selection of Tea Collection, a great deal more than Nordstrom carries.
The staff is super friendly, and knowledgable. The store is adorable, with an impressive selection of baby goods. Walk in and be ready to spend some serious $$$$.

great store. have bought many things for my daughter here and also gifts for friends babies. sort of pricey but it is posh baby after all — what else would you expect? had a bad interaction with an employee once, but had another on a later date that was really good. (hence the edited review). will keep coming back :)

Not just a creative name here, parents. If you want to find the cutest, most fashionable, top-​of-​the-​line baby gear for your little one (or you want to win every baby shower you ever attend) this is the place.
And here’s more good news — the price for big ticket items (strollers, cribs, carseats, swings, etc.) is exactly what you’ll find on Amazon. Case in point: after tirelessly searching for strollers online, watching Youtube videos, reading reviews, asking every parent we know, we decided to come in to Posh Baby to take a few for a test drive, and immediately discovered we should have just come here straight away. Not only was the staff super helpful and hands-​on without being pushy, but we learned in 10 minutes what we’d spent hours online trying to figure out: this one was too heavy, that one didn’t have a big enough basket, this one was good for infants, that one’s better if you’re looking to grow your family in the future. We basically tore up the store test driving strollers at the encouragement of the staff.
We ended up with a stroller we think (hope, pray) is perfect for us, and we scored $ 75 off because of a store-​wide sale they were having. I’m usually all about the craigslist buys, but knowing we’re the first family to use and travel with this stroller, along with the guarantee of the 3-​year warrantee, was definitely worth it in our book.
Overall, this shop is local and lovely. Parents and those who want to please parents with wonderful gifts, head here immediately.

After brunching nearby I dropped in to pick up a gift for a friend who let me know that very morning that their baby was born. I wanted to grab a unique gift and I’m glad I came into this sweet boutique. Disclaimer: I am not a parent and I don’t know what half the stuff in the store is. That said, I lingered in the furniture section because there were many beautiful pieces.
I ended up snagging a book «Goodnight Portland» which was very cute. The staff was friendly and helpful to me and my 2 companions.
If there is a baby in my future this will be one of my first stops.

Such a great baby store and so accessible if you live in the city. We stopped in looking for a 2-​in-​1 bassinet and play yard and found one instantly. It wasn’t one we’d seen through our research but after talking with two employees about the product we were sold! Plus, it was much cheaper than other models we’d seen online.
If you’re looking for other gear, this store has a great selection of strollers, cribs, high chairs and more. I could have easily picked up everything for baby right here.

Don’t let the name fool you. This store has a lot of options for different budgets. I love you can try the strollers, car seats, cribs and other furniture in store. The staff is super helpful and they are knowledgeable.

We went to Posh Baby because it is one of the only places in town that has double strollers in their store to try out. I was put off by the name — to me it screams YOU CAN’T AFFORD THIS! So I was very pleasantly surprised to see that the things we were looking at were not overpriced — the car seats and strollers were available for exactly the same prices you would find them for online or in other shops.
We were generously helped by the employees, and were very happy with the selection of things available (though I wish they had a better selection of cloth diapering items).
The clothes are a bit on the pricy side, but they are not run-​of-​the-​mill, everyday baby clothes, more like designer baby clothes. Not my thing, so it didn’t irritate me that they were expensive.

WAY overpriced baby stuff!
While I certainly agree they’ve got very nice stuff, I was shocked at the prices. Even worse, they charge ABOVE retail. Not only can I always find their items cheaper on Amazon with free shipping, but today I actually went to buy a baby book there (as I live next door and was in need of a quick gift) — their sticker covered the retail price and charged an EXTRA 35% above! Come on, now! Yet they have all these signs about «keeping it local» and keeping small business alive — just like so many other Portland shops. Umm… seriously? These items are mostly made in China but just overpriced here — this is not keeping it local. Sorry, Portland.

After reading the other reviews, I was a little nervous to go into Posh as I am a stickler on friendliness and good customer service… My mom and I went in to the downtown store to look around and get ideas for our little one on the way.
We were very pleasantly surprised. The ladies were very helpful. We received great customer service and were incredibly pleased with our experience.
We found THE diaper bag that is just right for my husband and me. And discovered that they carry many of the items that are already on our registry for the same prices as the ‘warehouse’ baby supply stores.

I thought this was a nice store with a great atmosphere. Easy to look up the registry I needed to buy gifts, and plenty of people on the floor to explain and help and make sure I was buying the correct thing off the registry.

Awesome store. They have everything you could want and the prices aren’t too crazy! I was able to get an Aden & Anais blanket and a very handy stroller rain cover for not too scary of a price! The store can be intimidating because they have so much great stuff and in such a cool area (Pearl District). The girl that helped me was super sweet and informative and I really appreciated all her help.

Their well-​curated selection of baby stuff is excellent, and the service was stellar. Staff patiently helped me compare several big-​ticket items like strollers, etc. and narrow down options. I will go out of my way to come here again, and also take advantage of their online ordering.

Been there a bunch of times. Before and after the move. Usually stop by when at Cool Moon or Jamison Square. They have a nice selection of merchandise. 4 stars. Things are a bit overpriced. 2 stars. Service is hit or miss. 3 stars.

Save yourself the trouble and order online– from someone else!
When I first got pregnant, I was excited to explore what Portland had to offer in baby boutiques, being a die hard «support local» kind of girl.
Since I don’t live downtown anymore, I checked out their website first, which needs a TON of work. It’s hard to navigate and many of their products are missed due to a design flaw in the page layout (to see the next page of products, you have to scroll back up to the top– which makes absolutely no sense at all). With that said, sometimes you can get more information off their website than from the girls in the store.
I went into the store a few times where I received HORRIBLE service. On one visit I walked in, I don’t think the girls noticed, as they stood behind the counter and spoke very unprofessionally about the customer that left before I got there. On another occasion, we popped in before dinner to show my husband the $ 700 stroller I had my eye on. Not only did we have to wait for our questions to be answered, another customer interrupted our conversation and the gal ran off to help her and never came back to us. In fairness I noticed a few months ago that Posh Baby was hiring on Craigslist and just chalked it up to the girls being new.
The last and final straw for me and why I will NEVER buy anything from Posh baby is because I wanted to buy a floor model chair from Posh. I was told by the owner it would be going on sale soon, as they were moving to a larger location. Being 39 weeks preggers, I had my husband call to check on when the chair would go on sale, so we could pick it up. The girls had no idea about the chair or the sale. They said call back in a few days. We called on Monday, we called on Wednesday. On Wednesday, I explained AGAIN and was told I would receive a call back that day. Friday came and I had heard nothing. I tried to call, I got the store VM. I finally called the Beaverton store. The gal I spoke to said she’d contact the downtown store to find out the scoop.
She called me back only to inform me that the chair had been SOLD to another customer. She was very apologetic and said she would relay my concerns to the manager.
I have heard nothing from Posh Baby and I can’t say I’m surprised. This is one local store where I wouldn’t waste my money. Try fawn&

The only star I’m giving is for having a ton of cute (if overpriced) things for babies and kiddos.
The complete lack of additional stars is for having atrocious service. First, we were offered a completely inappropriate recommendation – a toy with removable choke-​hazard parts for my friend’s 15-​month-​old. Yikes.
Then, after picking out a couple of things the baby couldn’t choke on if he wanted to, we waited in line for a good five minutes while three women helped a couple buying a thousand-​dollar stroller without so much as glancing our way. When we finally caught their attention and asked to be checked out, one of them said, «I’ll be with you in just a minute,» then turned to help someone who’d just walked into the store.
Five minutes later, after getting no further acknowlegement, we left our things and walked out.
I must admit that the staff was falling all over the people with pregnant bellies. Maybe next time I want to go here, I’ll get myself knocked up.
