I have also wasted an obscene amount of time trying to get paid from this company! Use another company! I started my online business in July, and I have still to collect from my first transaction, and it’s December! They have paid me a small portion of what they owe me, but are giving me the run around on the rest. They can’t even figure currency conversion! My site runs in usd, but I am in Canada, I have both USD accounts and CDN accounts. They finally came to me saying they can’t deposit US finds to a Canadian even though I have a U.S. Account, that took 3 months. So I give them a CDN account and then they put a fraction of what they owe me (they took my sale and deducted fees for all these months even though I and even use their service!) and then she just straight deposited the amount in Canadian funds even though our dollar is wrong way less! It’s just so ridiculous! I have never ever been given such a run around as I have with these ppl.

If I could give a NO STAR review I would. My recent experience cost me over $ 364 in penalty fees with Power Pay and I never even got to use the service!!! I will NEVER recommend this company (actually I am now on a personal mission to share my poor experience with them with any person who will listen). «Frustrating» doesn’t even come close to my feelings in my dealings with them. WARNING: DO NOT GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

Let me start by saying this is the WORST merchant company out there. I wish we would of googled them before signing up. We set up with them in April of 2014 and then set with with a POS system. Power Pay gave the POS system our wrong merchant number so all season long credit cards were being authorized but never charged which means customers never got charged and we never got our money. It totaled around $ 45,000. Now I know we should of caught this error but so should of Power Pay. It took them 3 months to figure that that was the issue and now after asking for help on customers contact info to reach out to them they cancel our account. I tried contacting them for 2 weeks by email and phone and no one would get back with me. I finally had my attorney send them a letter and someone called me but said this wasn’t their fault. Please research a merchant company before you sign up with them. This has been nothing but a headache. All we want is some help so we can reach out to these customers of ours and explain the error.

the worse customer service. including management. ALERT!!! they act as multiple company’s they all under one company. if you as been forwrd to another company they are all working under one roof and act as they not.
they all CROOKS. they will give you the run around and hold you money for ever.

This is the worst processing company I have ever had to work with. Once I cancelled my account with them because they were impossible to get a hold of, they said they would hold on to my $ 1300 for the next 270 days! Stay away!

Yes, I did sign a 3 year contract. Yes, I did over 3 years on the contract. Finding their information to cancel is almost impossible (obviously) My bank had to finally look up their number for me. After a few calls, I was finally able to submit a cancellation in writing. (even though I was paying for years after my company shut down). After that, I told my bank to block any more charges from Power pay (E-​onlinedata). Low and behold, I received a bill from collections for $ 38.90 for the charge they tried after I cancelled AND a $ 30 reject fee. ugh. Im still dealing with collections over this.

I cannot believe how many hours I’ve wasted trying to get a hold of someone who can help me with my issue. Through both phone and email, I attempted to cancel my account on February of 2014. I even emailed making sure that I had done everything I needed to cancel the account and didn’t hear back, so I assumed I was good to go.
Well they kept charging me monthly and when I tried formally disputing them, NO ONE would get back to me. I had reps literally lie to me about when they were working after hearing the exact opposite of from a co-​worker of theirs, since they are shady are refusing to return my phone calls and emails.
I have a record of my correspondence with them and cannot believe that it’s been a month and STiLL no one can give me a single update.
I am still owed $ 700 and if I don’t hear back soon, I’m filing reports with the Better Business Bureau and writing negative reviews everywhere bc I wish I had known about how evasive this company and its people are.

I definitely should have done more research when
referred me to PowerPay or e-​online data or EVO or whoever they are. Seems like everyone I spoke to was with a different company under a larger «umbrella» and couldn’t keep straight which company my account was with.
When I tried to cancel my account, they sent over a form that referred to an «early cancellation fee.» When I inquired further, one person told me that yes I would be subjected to a $ 250 early termination fee. The next person I spoke to said, yes, that MIGHT apply here. Might???
Their fees are much higher than other merchant providers I’ve researched since cancelling the account.
My advice — STEER CLEAR!

They don’t deserve any stars. In fact they deserve an investigation into financial fraud and crimes. I closed our account in January 2014 and to this day they have continued to charge $ 25.95/month in processing fees. When I called they said it was an administrative error on their «back-​end» and they would reimburse the amounts. Likely story… I’m pretty sure they’re biking hundreds if not thousands of customers for these ongoing fees hoping they won’t catch it on their statements.

I agree with everything being said here. If you do any e-​commerce, stay as far away from PowerPay as possible. They shut our account down WITHOUT NOTICE because our business «GREW TO FAST».
I believe every business loves to have this problem… our business volume jumped 50% over a 90 day period. We had a .0001% chargeback rating (only 3 in thousands of transacions) and a strict no-​refund policy.
They arbitrarily decided to shut our account down WITHOUT NOTICE creating a major headache for us.
if you want unreliable service and have your cash-​flow shut off like a frozen faucet, use PowerPay. Otherwise, find a merchant provider that respects e-​commerce and doesn’t run crying to mama when your business gains momentum.

This company is so frustrating to deal with. They claim to have 24×7 tech support, yet you’ll be in queue as caller number 1 for 10 – 20 minutes, which means there is probably only one person really working the queue. Then there is their rates. 5% ??? Really??? Come on! I can get better rates at ANY bank in the US. The ONLY reason we are using them is because our DanceWorks software will only use them as a credit card processor. This is EXACTLY why we are getting rid of DanceWorks and PowerPay both!

I should have checked Unilocal reviews before signing up with them. We had a terrible experience using their services especially when we needed to close the account. I run startups in Silicon Valley and strongly advise against PowerPay.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. I cancelled my account last month and it took FOREVER to get a confirmation back from them, after asking at least three times. I woke up this morning, three weeks later, and check my bank account. There’s a 250 dollar charge pending. I haven’t been able to reach them yet, so I don’t know what this bullsh@t is all about. They will probably say that there is some fee that I didn’t authorize. These people are ABSOLUTE crooks.

Dreadful. Payment processors are notoriously uptight and ultra-​conservative, but these guys make a frog’s arse look like a 12-​bedroom mansion. If you have a website (like I do) that takes credit card payments, do NOT go with these guys. Ultra-​sneaky phone calls, veiled threats to merchants, and pretentious attitude./
