Espresso tastes burned. Unprofessional young people serving. Wanted to support local business. Now I have and won’t be back

What makes this place is the staff, always friendly!

Not very good. I think they focus so much on the variety of flavors/syrups that they forget about the actual coffee. Also was so scalding hot that I couldn’t drink it for quite a while.

I love this place. It’s very inviting, and the staff are very friendly. There was some nice music playing and my chai tea latte was really good.

This coffee tastes like the roast burned. The beans were pre-ground and the barista confirmed not many people order espresso. The barista tried to shame me for re-ordering with soy milk. My bad, I forgot to specify and I’m paying for the second drink — there’s no need to rub it in «ooh, did YOU forget to TELLME what milk you wanted? The soy won’t taste as good…“after. I don’t think any kind of milk can help the way you brewed it. 0/10, I’m leaving this review as a reminder to never come here again.

Better lattes than starbucks for a lot cheaper. Really fast service which is awesome when I’m stopping in before work! Also they put cute stickers over the lid openings. :)

A great coffee store. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. We absolutely love this place. They know us by name and make our coffee just perfect. Everything is well priced and the pastries are delicious.

The people skills of the staff is lacking. When it is busy they are stressed, not engaging and kind of rude. Primo makes a great drink and their pastries are really good. The staff there needs to step up there customer service and smile to everyone. I felt bad for ordering more than one item because they made me feel like it was more important to get to the next person in line. If I wanted that kind of service I would go to Starbucks. I chose to go to Primo because I want a hand crafted beverage that takes time to make. I will give them a few more chances but if the bad customer service continues I will not recommend this place. Best advice I could give primo staff is slow down don’t be in a hurry. I will wait for you coffee because you make a great beverage. Your product is worth waiting for.

Today was my last visit due to poor customer service. Too expensive and the cashier couldn’t even look me in the eye. I even tipped(To insure proper service TIPS)! Maybe I’ve been spoiled by all the amazing coffee shops on the East side, keep trying Primo Expresso, keep trying.

Have loved going here since I was a young, especially during Christmas during the Candy Cane White Mocha season. So delicious, I just wish they were open later!

I moved to Tigard about eleven months ago, and I discovered Primo a few weeks after that. I’ve never had a bad coffee, bad pastry, or a bad attitude here. Attitude-wise: the staff members are amazingly friendly and sweet, and they genuinely care about their clientele(they don’t just shove a latte out and holler your name). When I walk in at 6:30 in the morning, I get a smile and am asked, «Big coffee?»(At that hour, all I can articulate is «Big… coffee…» and hand them my debit card. They know me pretty well now.) The pastries are GREAT! I definitely recommend the Cheddar Bacon Maple Scone, it’s absolutely fabulous. It doesn’t do much for a svelte figure, but the Oatmeal Marionberry Scone is just as delicious. And the coffee? Ooof. Delicious! I love watching them work the big ol’ espresso machine. No automated robots here; these baristas are the real deal and press, steam, mix, and blend everything themselves. Plus, they are artists with a coffee: give them a direction(«Something… hazelnutty, vanilla-y, and not too sweet…») and they’ll put a delightful treat in your hands not long after. Go to Primo Espresso. You won’t be sorry!

I only started coming here because my boyfriend stops for smokes at the Plaid next door — I never thought cigarettes would land me amazing coffee, but they did. The staff is super friendly, the prices are totally reasonable and over the last 7 months, I’ve never once had a bad experience or an even mediocre espresso. I haven’t tried the pastries yet, but they do look damn good. UPDATE: I tried the pastries — HOLYMOTHEROFGODYES! So, if you haven’t been, GOHERE. So good.

Love this place! I have been buying coffee here since the shop opened, everything here is good here, especially the gluten/dairy free cookies. Love the staff, and the white chocolate smores mocha’s.

I love this place. It is reasonable on the wallet and the product is good. They have multiple choices for plain coffee and the«warm hug» mocha is insanely good. Pastries are excellent. I really like the cheddar bacon scone and the kids beg for the cinnamon roles.

Salted caramel mocha hit the spot this morning! Just heard that in January, Primo will be making homemade granola!

Love love this coffee shop! Hate hate the hours(close 2pm)! But it’s understandable being that they’re right across the street from two schools and probably don’t want a bunch of little brats loitering around. Heck, if I owned the place, I’d probably do the same. Primo Espresso is my fav java joint next to Stumptown. Anyway, the staff here is very friendly and they remember my usual cup of joe with an extra shot. So those mornings I’m groggy and grumpy, I don’t have to say a word. I walk in and while in line, they start my order. By the time I pay, my brew is waiting for me. Now that’s service. Pastries also rock, especially the blueberry scone! That is all.

Love this little ‘mom&pop’ place. They use Torani syrups which I am NOT a fan of, but they use the powder Ghirardelli white and dark mocha which is my favorite. Needless to say, I only get mocha’s here, and they are my favorite. Their pastries are all really good but very sweet, this isn’t your trendy coffee shop with fancy latte art and healthy snacks. But I love going here. It’s GREAT price for what you get, a very friendly staff, CONSISTENT very efficient with a long line. Plus you get little stickers for your coffee lid and it’s the cherry on top. it’s the little things. I always try to order half the flavor with an extra shot, otherwise it’s too sweet. Personal Preference.(extra shot is $ 0.35, not $ 1 – 1.50 like many of the ‘fancy’ coffee shops) One negative, they do not have wi-fi, which is a bummer because I would set up shop here once in a while and drink too much coffee… er mochas.
