Thank you for your reply. Your comment, «while detox is uncomfortable» does not address that I suffered tremendous abdominal pain, and profuse diarrhea, (along with a rash and puritis) to the point I underwent a colonoscopy to rule out other possible etiologies for my pain. When I discontinued your product, I was better. It also should be noted I attempted the use of these products several times with the same results. If suspected that I suffered from significant «toxins» no chemistries were drawn to prove that point. There was never any «healing» involved here and I’m at a lack to your reference to that.
Your offer to me to restart the program completely lacks any attention to the fact I did so poorly, reacting to the products you prescribed. You offered me a refund of $ 463 from the $ 1651 I paid for the entire program, in full, on good faith. I feel that you require transparency on your fees. I am a medical professional and my fee for a comprehensive medical/​surgical exam is $ 290. Your initial exam fee was $ 499, to which you never examined me in any way, nor acquired vital signs. You also charged me $ 150 for your «manual» a 58 paged booklet, spiral bound with pages 9 – 51 all repetitive in journal form. It also clearly states on this «manual» in the title that it is a «journal» and again, I would like to know how you came to these charges. I have purchased medical textbooks for $ 150 or more with hundreds of pages of medical text that warrants such a charge, your «manual» in no way qualifies for such a charge.
On the web, I was able to locate 3 of the products you prescribed (supplements) from Première Research Labs that ranged from the cost of $ 12.50-$ 20 each. Your total charges for the supplements provided totaled $ 450. Again, I feel that you should be transparent here on your charges and how you came to them. And lastly, your charge to me for one week of being on the program was $ 89. This works out to be $ 12.70 per text message, since this was the only contact I had with you the first week. I support making a profit and an income but you sir are less than honorable in doing so. You saw me one time and one time only, we exchanged less than a dozen text messages and I was independent on your program otherwise. Thus, your «solution much to my benefit» is not is also not credible.

Dr. Lori Avis is an amazing chiropractor. When I threw my back out, I asked friends for a recommendation to a chiropractor and a friend highly recommended Lori. And she was right. Lori is a fantastic practitioner and I would recommend her services to anyone needing chiropractic care.

Dr. Quinn called me a chiropractic virgin. Gross, gross, gross. This isn’t the 50s, you shouldn’t say that to your clients. I just think that there are better practitioners that probably won’t try and sell you a «body package» that has nothing to do with the reason why you came to the facility in the first place. I’ll find someone else that won’t say such weird things to me.

I’m 25 years old and in the best shape of my life because of the great work done at this office. Dr. Quinn is an all around amazing doctor, and at the same time takes the time to connect with me and even educates me on my body. The service provided in this facility is top notch, from chiropractic to acupuncture and even the customer service provided by the office assistants. I know all the employees in the office on a first name basis, and that’s the way I like it. It is nice to leave the office with a smile on my face. I recommend Dr. Quinn and his office to people of all ages.

My father, in his 70’s, developed horrible back pain from what we eventually discovered was a herniated disc and a few bulged discs (sacral area). It was so bad it took 6 weeks before we could get him out of the house for any type of x-​rays or MRI etc. After seeing a great neurosurgeon who recommended we try everything else first before coming back for surgery since surgery should be a last resort (a ¹⁄₃ chance of getting better, ¹⁄₃ chance of no resolution and a ¹⁄₃ chance of it getting worse with surgery) I began researching alternatives.
Everyone was touting stats about 80% success rate with spinal decompression, but some machines are old fashioned traction machines versus the new targeted traction of spinal decompression. I found the original scientific study with those stats and then found the machine used in that study. Dr. Quinn was the only person in Portland (at the time) to have this machine. It isn’t cheap, as another person mentioned, but cheaper than back surgery! It also isn’t a guarantee, but we liked the price tagged and the 80% success rate better than the horrible odds & price of surgery. My dad did get better and my parents liked Dr. Dorian (I only met him in the initial stages where I was screening stuff for my parents). He can now swim and do aqua aerobics again. We even traveled for a month this last year. (His visits were in 2009, I think) He’ll never be 100%, but he got his life back, so we are happy.
I’m sorry that the other reviewer had such a bad outcome. Unfortunately, back issues are very tough, especially when you are in the stats for those who don’t heal or get worse. I can only advise that you do your research and feel comfortable when making a decision. Do not let anyone pressure you into a decision. If your pain is that intense (which nerve pain usually is) get a friend or family member to research and advocate for you.

I went to Dr. Quinn for spinal decompression on a herniated disc. Be careful because he is a very convincing salesman. His place has all the latest technology, but it lacks the intuition and personal care. His staff is great, and all of his aids are sweet and helpful, but after 3 months of treatment, I am way worse than I was when i started.
You probably are wondering why i kept going while getting worse. Well, one reason is that I paid a package price… for a whole treatment plan, so I was locked in, and second because Dr. Quinn made me believe that i would get worse before i get better.
I went in with annoying and persistent pain, and now i can barely walk and have pain 100% of the time.
So, I would not recommend this place.
