Clean facilities and easy access BUT they bait you in with: 1) low initial rental rate and raise it later, 2) require you add $ 13 per month insurance you pay to them, 3) pay $ 18 for a small round lock that is useless anywhere else. Had my other storage location had another unit to rent I would NOT have used Public Storage.

For a storage unit, it’s pretty much what you’d expect. What made my experience noteworthy was The front desk staff. He was the coolest ol’ dude you’d ever meet; very helpful and funny and able to answer all of my questions when I was on the verge of being frantic. I hope he has an amazing road trip in September. thanks!

Had a really great experience today moving my things into Public Storage. Jack was incredibly helpful and is a genuinely nice guy. The process was very organized, from filling out paperwork to instructions on how to use the lift. Highly recommended.

So far, so good. Both Mark & Jack were very helpful in setting up my account, showing me the unit, and making move-​in day as smooth as possible. Its not the newest or cleanest facility, but it’ll do for my 3-​week needs.

I work for a moving company, and have been to nearly every public storage facility in Multnomah, Clackamas amd Washington County. Here was one of the most organized, and Jack was the most helpful right from the start compared to the other facilities around town. When we pulled up he came out and directed us where to park the truck, then explained the elevator protocol and put it on independent service so we could use it uninterrupted. This place being located on the inner East side is perfect for anyone that side of Chavez Blvd. Would recommend here to our customers.

When we got there we found out the place had been robbed 3 times. So we had to take anything worth value and store it else where. Not good.

Incredibly unprofessional sales staff. Spent 15 minutes on their 800 line, thinking I was making a reservation. They gave me a confirmation number and then told me to call the the facility itself, so I could hand them them confirmation number and start over again??? When asked the point was told ‘we’re their wingman’. No clue why though. I then called the facility and talked to Jack, who immediately told me I was outside the booking window and he wouldn’t honor the confirmation. Called the 800 number again and asked to speak to a manager. The sales person was screening for them and wouldn’t put them on, but when she heard my story told me to wait and try again some other time and ‘maybe we can help you’. No thanks.

I got an unbeatable rate for my first month. The staff is extremely helpful and nice. The units themselves are clean and easily accessible. Great hours!!! Also the cargo elevator is amazing. I don’t think I’ve been able to move that fast before. They also have 4 wheel carts varying in size to use for free during the daily office hours!

By far the most aggressive sales person I’ve ever made the mistake of calling! Borderline harassment all because I was interested in seeing a space and average pricing. I just called and I’m still not sure where I will store my things but I’m not supporting a company that hires animals! Yuck

Went in for boxes and a storage unit today. Though they didn’t have a unit in the size we needed (this place fills up fast!!), Mark hooked us up with their Rose Quarter location and was nice enough to show us the grounds at the location on Sandy. We will definitely be using them for storage.

This was my first storage experience and it couldn’t have gone better. Jack was straight to the point, very helpful and extremely pleasant. I was in and out faster than I had planned. I will be using this location for all of my future storage needs.

Is it ever good when you’re putting your things in storage? I’m not sure.
I will say, however, that it isn’t as bad as all that if you talk to Jack and grab a space at this facility. He’s helpful as can be, a genuinely good guy to deal with, and the units are perfectly adequate and reasonably priced. They have long hours and some carts for you to haul the heavier items. Not as many as they used to before some shady muthas availed themselves of these shared devices on a permanent basis but enough.
Look no further than this if you live in inner southeast — or are splitting town because your marriage went to the birds and you desperately need a place to lock away your treasured possessions while you frantically try to put your life back together. Or, you know, for any other reason.

Jack is then only guy in town that you want to speak to when it comes to storage. He is friendly and professional and the facility is utilitarian but clean. We were in and out with a rented unit in under 30 minutes (including a tour of the unit and facility.)

I’d strongly recommend this Public Storage location. As others have said, Jack the manager is amazing and made the whole process smooth and easy. I managed to reserve my space online in advance with a minimum of fuss. Onsite Jack helped me find my space and complete all the necessary paperwork promptly. The only disappointment I had was that I didn’t check out Unilocal first for the $ 1 first month rent special offer on the space. I paid full price as Jack said no offers were available at the time. Overall, though, a great experience!
