Quest Diagnostics

Their automated system is a nightmare. I had the displeasure of needing to get blood draws through Quest until I was able to set up something different. I was told the order was in the system and all I had to do was walk in. Even Quest diagnostic’s automated system says you can set up an appointment but don’t need to because it is first come first serve. So I walk in and immediately get told by the lady behind the counter where is your order, it needs to be in your hand. I try saying the doctor said the order was in the system, she doesn’t look and says well I don’t have it. I say fine I will call the doctor right now. Before I dial the doctor’s office she gets up from the desk and then says oh I have it here. The second time I go in the place the lady is even ruder and denies the blood draw. Even though on their automated system it says if there is an issue with an order THEY will call the doctor’s office to get confirmation. She never offered to call the doctor’s office. I called Quest to find out exactly what orders they received because the doctor is the one that said go back in the order should be good and of course getting a hold of a real person good luck. I think I hit 0 or 9 until the system finally let me through. The next day I get a call back from Quest saying please go ahead in everything is set for real this time. But the when the lady behind the desk was asked about why she didn’t call the doctor’s office about the second time I came there, she said I told her not to call. Um BS. Luckily don’t have to deal with them anymore.

Rude staff. If you have to visit go online and schedule an appointment (unless you want a nap)… Slow as molasses in January

Horrible! Very rude staff. The automated phone system was frustrating no way to talk to a person. You must have an appointment unless you have 3+ hours to spend sitting around. The phone system encourages you to walk in but if you walk in there booked with appointments which they take before you. It is not first come first serve. It’s set up for people who do not have a job trying to do a drug screen for a new job and have all day to sit around. I didn’t get my test done! Now I have to take another day off work, or get declined for my 2^nd job! Employers please don’t use this company.
