Ranch Salon

This place is fabulous! I recently moved to Portland from LA, where I had the same stylist for years and she always did cutting edge, perfect hair for me. I moved to Portland, and my first experience was at Kalista salon, I will mention it and not feel bad, this place was terrible! The staff alone were scary, my hair looked as if I was a 16 year old trying to look punk rock, not at all what I was going for.
Then I found Rene at the Parlor. She is a sweet, adorable hipster (in a good way) that does exactly what you ask her to do. I have had more compliments than you can imagine and I will go to her no matter what. The salon is also in the east side industrial area in a very cool loft. I love the uniqueness of the space and the fact that I feel like I’m entering into something very private and elite.
