No star for this total asshat. He lost my family’s wii and our external hard drive loaded with over 4000 games. And has offered nothing, unless I pay for a new hard drive. Never once has called to let me know if my wii has been found or has found a replacement. I called every month for 6 months after being told it would be fixed in less than 30 days, and always told the same thing «well call you when it’s ready» I showed up out of the blue to gather my stuff and was told I have to call and speak with the boss who locks up his jobs. So went home and continued to call to the boss. Basically he lost everything so if I want anything I have to buy it new. Would just as soon go back and wait outside for the boss after hours to extract my losses directly… but, oh well. You get what you pay for. Don’t take anything to this asshole.

Dropped off a famicom to be worked on and got a call to come pick it up but wasn’t able to get down there until a week after the call. When I did get a chance to stop by it looked like they were closed up. Tried calling as well and wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone. If anyone knows how to reach Ty I’d still like to pick the unit I brought in for repair. Sounds like I’m not the only one who had something like this happen.

Three weeks ago I dropped off my ps3 to find out what was wrong with it. I was told that they would know what was wrong the next day. They never called so I went down to the shop and they were closed. I have gone back several times and called several times as well. They have not been there or answered the phone. I think they might have gone out of business. So here I am with no ps3 thanks to these assholes :-(

After what seems like a horrible run with a terrible employee these guys are back on top. Their PS3 guy is working hard. They were late fixing our system, but gave us credits and an extended warranty. Rock solid customer support. Thanks guys!

I brought my xbox 360 in for a red ring of death fix. After a long wait my system was fixed and the owner gave me and extended warranty and credit. Much appreciated

My PS3 was turning on and immediately off. I googled PS3 repair Portland. Repairbucks was the first option. Around august 2013 I dropped off my PS3, the service was friendly, I trusted I would have my system fixed in no time.
After nearly a week went by I had not been contacted by Repaibucks so I called them. It turns out my phone number had been written down wrong. They said it would be a 100 dollar fix, the (fill-​in-​the-​blank) was broken. I gave the go-​ahead to fix it. I was called a few days later, my PS3 was fixed, come pick it up. I went on a Saturday morning, hoping to be the first customer of the day. I got there around 11:10 and they were not open. I waited, called, left a voicemail, watched another person try to open the door and call, called again, waited, and left around noon; one hour after they were supposed to open.
I took another trek about a five days later, was told my PS3 was fixed and would be 120 dollars. I was irked that the price went up for no reason but decided not to raise a stink and paid the new full price (still cheaper than a new system, right?).
I took my system home played about an hour, tried to play the next day, it would not start. The exact same problem was happening. I took it back to repairbucks, they said the (don’t know) was broken again but it would be fixable under their warranty. A few weeks later they said it was fixed, I picked it up, it worked for nearly a month this time, then the same problem happened. I returned to repairbucks, they said they would fix it again.
I dropped my PS3 off on 10-​30-​2013, I write this on 3-​2-​2014. I have called them over a dozen times, left half a dozen messages, got 0 calls back. I called in mid December and was told by someone that the outlook on my system was not good, I would get a call in a few days to discuss restitution for failure to fix my system. I got no such call. In January I called several times, spoke to several people and was told each time my system was «in testing.». I was told I would be called back, told my system would be fixed within a week, etc. I have gone over a month without any word spoken between me and Repairbucks. I have no idea what the status on my system is. I have paid 120 dollars, driven to and from Repairbucks half a dozen times and wasted hours of my time and have nothing to show for it. I write this review only to save the time and money of others. Repairbucks; you have had my PS3 for half a year, I want my money back. I assume I won’t get it. The service was wonderful I received. Full explanations. I now have a home base to go for most of my video game console needs. I cant speak much for the computer repair/​other electronic repairs, but if it is as good as it is for consoles, your in for a treay.
Repair bucks worked with me as a person and not a number. The business was cost effective and efficient. I also walked out of the store withmore knowledge on how to care for my system properly which is more than I expected. With* and extended warranty policy through repair bucks as part of the repair.
If your out of warranty and need a fix. I highly recommend this place for all by our repair needs! I can’t thank them enough.

These guys are amazing. I have gone to them multiple times for various reasons.
1) I took my PS3 in because there would be no AV input to the TV. I took it in and he pretty much fixed the problem… all I had to do was do a hard reset on the console to reset the settings (yeah, I felt like a noob). The employee (I think he said his name was Ty??) didn’t charge me because it was such an easy fix.
2) The second time I used their services was when my PC wouldn’t start up. I dropped of said PC and within the same week was called to pick it up. Turns out that a computer won’t run if the hard drive is wiped (yes, this was another noob moment for me). They told me they installed another operating system, plus various anti-​spyware and anti– virus programs. I was charged $ 60. Which is a good $ 30-​$ 40 less than what other local computer repair shops charge.
3) I took my TV in a few weeks ago because it wouldn’t turn on (are you seeing a pattern here LOL). I had pulled the cord out of the socket with out turning it off first and had blown the power unit. It took about a week to fix, with ordering the part and labor.
As with all work they do, they provide a four month service warranty for all repairs. This is invaluable to me because (as stated above) I have a terrible problem with breaking electronics. I would hand over fist recommend them to anyone looking for reasonable prices, excellent customer service and professional workmanship.

Had an excellent experience. My Xbox 360 tray wouldn’t open, so I brought it in and dropped it off. Got a call a couple days later with an explanation of what had broken inside and was given several different options (just replacing the part, replacing the whole disc drive, or doing an entire preventative maintenance).
I chose to just replace the part, because I’m planning on replacing the console soon, but all the prices were super reasonable, so if I end up hanging onto it, I will definitely go back to get the preventative maintenance (comes with decent warranty, too). The guy I dealt with was friendly and low-​pressure (they weren’t trying to do a hard sell on anything, just giving me my options).
Whole thing was done in about a week’s time, from drop-​off to pick-​up, and now my disc drive is opening happily for me every time! They are going to be my first stop from now on when I need any electronics repairs.

These guys are awesome. I’ve used them for Xbox repair several times and they also replaced a cracked iPhone screen for me. Great customer service and super affordable. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Brought my PS3 in to be cleaned and maintaned. They did a great job, super friendly, and were just awesome people. I have had no hang ups on my PS3 since. I would recomend them for service, price, and just overall awesomeness! Good job guys and thanks again!

Got a red ring of death on my Xbox 360 and was very troubled… then I found an ad for RepairBucks. I emailed one of the staff about pricing and was blown away by the $ 60 charge to not only repair my console, but change the fans, clean the system, and include a 4-​month warranty on their work. I can’t recommend this place enough – they repair damn near anything electrical from video game systems to cell phones. I will definitely be back in the future. …hopefully not, but it’s good to know that they are there for me.

I was so leery of leaving my laptop with anyone to fix and when I told these guys that on the phone they said they’d see if they could fix it in front of me while I waited. I brought it in and they were able to! While I was there I found out they could fix the home and lock key on my iphone so they did that, too. They are so nice and helpful. They are easy to relate to and told me the technicalities in a way that wasn’t over my head, but yet not like they were over simplifying for me. I overheard them talking about how they fix games and donate them to kids. If there was another star, I’d give it to that for them alone.

Repairbucks repaired my PS3 quickly and affordably. They explained all the work and how to use the PS3 in the proper way.

I have no idea why this place doesn’t have any reviews! Situated in the top office of a nondescript building on the corner of NE 32^nd & Broadway, repairbucks has a very low-​key, friendly, and efficient vibe.
I brought in my Xbox 360 as it was giving me a Red Ring of Death. Ty, the friendly 20-​something who received and returned my Xbox to me (I wonder if he’s the owner/​head honcho, seemed very capable) was very thorough, showed me that the box worked before giving it back, and included a 4-​month warranty with the price of the repair ($ 80 for a pretty technical job).
I highly recommend them. Any broken electronics you have– be it cell phones, computers, or game consoles, I hope you check these guys out. Locally run, professional, and friendly.
