Bought a package that was supposed to include a kayak, paddle tether, waterproof case, and plugs… they told me they would lend me a heavy ass paddle to use until mine came and the tether. Promised me it would only take two days. A week later no return calls or emails and I see them advertising the same setup. I told them to forget it that I’d just buy my own paddle and never heard back. I think I just got jipped. They were quick to reply when I was looking to buy… once I bought and they owed me something no replies at all.
EDIT:
I got a call a week after, like nothing happened that the paddle was in. By that time I just said Eff it, because I had gotten my own paddle by then.

Cannot recommend this outfit.
They took a partial return of my order, acknowledged that they received it promptly and in new condition, but said the person who handles returns was in the hospital. Believing this person, and seeing that it was the holidays, I offered my sympathies and said it could wait. A couple of calls and emails later only rendered more excuses.
I realize now they figgured it was too much trouble and that I wasn’t inclined to drive 300 miles over $ 40 bucks.
It’s discouraging to see operators behaving this way.
