ASTORIA, NY

A solid 3 stars — a mom and pop operation. Definitely just a place to sleep at when in the area and need a place to crash.
SUPER cheap rates (our room was $ 70 for two double beds), very clean… VERY outdated. But kept very clean just the same. I didn’t feel TOO skeevy staying here, but I would have preferred a nice B&B over this… but alas, all B&B’s in the area were booked up for the weekend, and this was the closest lodging to where we needed to be.
I think we were one of three rooms occupied this weekend!
