Pretty decent food for an awesome price. Tucked into hose food carts next to Papa Murphy’s, you can easily miss this place if you’re not looking. Prices ranged from $ 1.25 to $ 6.75 for most things, and man! I ordered a «wet burrito», and I ate it for dinner and breakfast the next morning! lol so much burrito. their churros are awesome as a sweet snack, and their chips and salsa are soooo good. Flautas are a bit hard but nothing unmanageable. Their quesadillas aren’t bad either if you want something for the kids or can’t stomach anything spicy.

Excellent quality, very affordable, fresh ingredients, friendly service. Nice little extras like lime wedges, radishes, etc. 2 tacos and rice and beans for $ 4? Yes please!

Quick, Friendly, Online Presence, Reliable, and Consistent. I had almost given up on finding a good burrito cart near the east side of Mt Tabor. I only eat the vegetarian options, so I can’t speak for the Meatier options.(have never found meat in my veg food either!) I have kids and at dinner time I need the food carts to be open if the web services say they are. I have seen Rositas Place thoughtfully update Unilocal if they will be closed unexpectedly for a couple of days. I hope these guys stick around

What an experience! The food is fresh, made to order, authentic and delicious. Furthermore, Viviane(owner and cook) is warm, inviting, and very friendly. There is covered seating, and she even plays Cuban music from the truck. We stopped here with my family, who is generally pretty conservative with their cuisine choices, and everyone loved it. The Cuban and ropa veija — highly recommended. We may fly back out here from Boston just to visit Viviane again :)

Delicious. Affordable($ 5.50 burrito!) Friendly. I highly recommend it if you’re nearby and have a hankering for some Mexican food. The Cuban cart across the way plays music when they are open, which makes for a fun atmosphere. This cart pod is truly a diamond in the rough, considering how rough this section of 82nd is.

Great food and friendly service! Had a chile relleno, kids had street tacos. Guacamole was excellent — definitely give that a try.

I’ve already wrote a short review here and here’s another short one… I just had the best burrito in my life, hands down. I just ordered a small burrito with steak and hot sauce on the side and it was amazing! It was wrapped perfectly too and didn’t spill out like nasty Taco Bell burritos do. Get a burrito if you go here!!!

Had the fish tacos with a side of fresh guac. So goood! Went on a lunch break and it took a while for our food but soooo worth it. Fish was spot on and the tortilla chips were made fresh. Will be back!

Nothing like a great torta on locally made bread. As I’ve stated before, 82nd is the place to find some really good stuff if you know where to look. I randomly passed by this area and found a small food pod. Cuban food, Korean and Rosita’s. All were great options but I needed to move quickly for an appointment so I figured the torta would be the quickest. Carne Asada was my choice. They didn’t have too many meat choice, but it is a food cart. All the standard veggies were on the sandwich. Avocado, onions, tomato, jalapenos, but surprisingly no beans. Believe me the food was good, but I was looking for some frijoles to add an extra layer. The sandwich was a good size and the habanero sauce I got with it wasn’t too hot but had some good flavor to it. I’d easily stop back here soon, but I know I’d also like to try the other spots in the group of carts as well. Enjoy.

There is nothing quite like having some good food, and the people at Rosita’s place totally get that! I recently got the wet burrito and man was it tasty! The ingredients are all incredibly fresh and flavors are intense. It was a delicious surprise. This place is worth coming to over and over again! I can’t wait to continue trying more of their menu.

I love Rosita’s Place! The rotating daily special is a great perk for a budget friendly lunch/dinner! The portions are huge and totally shareable! I’ve been eating here semi-often for the past month, but today I tried the churro filled with Bavarian cream! To say the least it was delicious! My taste buds are thankful!

I try something new every time I go. So far everything is orgasmic. Try the carne asada fries add beans and avacado and instead of cheese sauce go with the shredded cheese. You’re welcome

We came here because of all the hype reviews. The quality was really great and it was made with the freshest ingredient and all but I was actually disappointed in the food. The food was bland. The grilled chicken was not seasoned or something as it did not really taste authentic and same goes for the asada. The carne asada had a really strong peppery taste, mainly the pepper overpowered the rest of the taste of the asada and other seasonings. Im not sure how they do chimichangas here or was it just badly made because it was a Tuesday special. I saw picture of it on Unilocal looking extra crunchy but mine came pretty soggy and soft(even thought it was a take out, it was like 5 minutes from my house). The inside was alright nothing that jump out. It tasted straight up like a bean burrito with cheese it wasn’t that great with all the ooze supposedly beans? The three additional side was superb though! Salsa, sour cream and delicious guacamole. I was looking forward to the asada fries but mine was really dry. I thought it suppose to have cheese sauce in it? Mine didn’t come with cheese sauce just shredded cheese, asada, sour cream and a freshly made salsa on top. Some pieces of french fry were over fried so it was extra crispy and crunchy. All in all maybe we came in the wrong time? But it wasn’t that great compared to the copious amount of Mexican food carts on 82nd stripe. But I’ll have to say they use fresh ingredients, clean environment, fresh to order. The additional sour cream, salsa and guacamole on the side to accompany the chimichanga was a nice touch to showcase their fresh ingredients. Maybe I will try other menu items next time.

Their Fish Tacos are the bomb .pure love … My kiddo’s favorite is the street tacos and huge breakfast burritos. we have so many more things to try. I cannot say enough good things about Rositas — fresh ingredients — well made food — and super nice folks.

I LOVE that Rosita’s Place is in the SE! The food is consistently good and a good value. The owners are super nice, and the specials are fantastic(and fantastically generous). Food is cooked fresh to order. You will not go hungry… the only regret is not having a bigger stomach. Enjoy!

I’ve been here many any times and the carne asada is wonderful! It’s cheap and way better than 75-% of these other guys.

Excellent burritos and quesadillas! Went here a couple of weeks ago and the food was so good that when I finished I went back and ordered more! My only«complaint» is that the nachos were a little sparse on the toppings. Otherwise this place is great and you get a ton of fresh salsa and sour cream with just about anything you order. Can’t wait to go again!

Had an amazing taco salad here. One of things I’ve noticed in everything I have ordered from here, is the freshness of the ingredients and also very distinct delicious flavors. So many mexican carts are good, but don’t really stand out to you. This definitely stands out and is worth the trip! I also on another visit ordered the taquitos and I pictured just plain old taquitos, but they came with fresh salsa made right there and were not just bland. My point here is, definitely stop here — delicious and the owners are great!
