So I’ve been to this Ross from time to time looking for things I can’t find the other Rosses. Today I went in there look for shoes… selection was horrible. nothing was in the right area, the floor was dusty, nobody spoke not even security spoke! not a good experience I ended up not buying anything I will not return to this Ross I see why people go to the ones in Beaverton

Meh. This place always has super long lines and are terrible at keeping their stock nice and orderly. But, it is much cheaper merchandise than you’ll find other places.(Which I assume is why you shop there in the first place) Security guards make me feel more afraid than safe and don’t expect a smile from anyone.

One star for the really nice girl at the checkout. One star for the prices as well. Where are the other stars? They’re with that god-awful ‘no food or drinks’ policy and the constant feeling that I’m being treated like a criminal. I understand that its a high theft place, but it seriously makes me and I bet other people feel uncomfortable when you people have cameras everywhere and, when you beep out the door, the security guy is rude as hell. I also get that people like to leave their trash and empty soda bottles everywhere but don’t ask me to get rid of my water bottle. I mean, come on. Its water. I work in a high theft retail place as well but these policies you guys have scare away the customers.

As for Customer Service, the girls working in the Dressing Room should move to the front as cashiers, because they give you a smile & pleasant to see. But the one who served us, looked like they’re still trying to wake up from last night’s partying or studying. Sorry, I’m not easy, but that’s how I feel when I see a customer service and you want to be greeted with a smile when you approach them, NOT trying to wake them up! I’m less & less want to shop @ Ross. I’ll give them a point only because they have one thing we went there for, that they didn’t have @ OTHERSTORES, not even @ Fred Meyer’s & they were cheap — driving from Gresham and back to Portland. We tried!

Went by today to do a little shopping for myself. YUCK! What a total disaster this place is. I have NEVER been in any type of store that was as filthy and unkempt as this Ross is. Stuff all over the floor to the point that you actually kick things to the side to get your cart down the aisle. Never again.

Is your bedroom always a complete disaster? Do you normally have so many people over that you can barely move? Do you enjoy digging through piles and piles of shoes in your closet just so you can find the right to your left? If you answered«yes» to any of the above questions, you are sure to love Ross Dress for Less. Indeed, they have loads of clothing and shoes(and a lot of times you can actually find mid-grade designs like Steve Madden, Jessica Simpson, and Vans). They are a menagerie for the odd framed poster art and smelly candles, tacky Playboy pet accessories, and broken chocolate-covered pretzels. But, damn! If you can handle putting in a little elbow grease into your shopping(read: dodging crowds, dealing with mismarked sizes, and wading through dense areas of frumpster and elasticized clothes), it’s entirely possible to find some goodies. Hell, I got three adorable shirts and two DVDs for less than $ 35. Is it worth the piles and piles of shoes littering the ground? Is it worth the six-item limit in the bubble-gum-walled dressing area? Is it worth snotty little kids greasing up the sunglasses, and the super-long and slow lines? Probably not. But it’s worth the experience…
