Love to support a family business, good food can’t complain there delivery is only for 6pm or later so a bit frustrating and could use better customer service.

Very quick and very good! My daughter likes the chicken chow main and I think the moo shoo pork is great!

The crab rangoon tasted like the fumes coming off scorched engine oil. I don’t know what that was all about. I am not a restaurateur, but my guess is that they haven’t changed the oil in the deep fryer for some time now. The flavor of the filling assisted in the bitter, unnatural flavor. So it may have been something else gone wrong in preparation. Either case, I stand by it: scorched engine oil. Never tasted anything like it before. The worst offense with our order had to be the chicken lettuce wrap. I thought it would be a safe choice. However, I did not expect receiving the outer husk of an uncut head of lettuce. I mean, literally, it was pulled off a head of lettuce and stuck in a plastic bag. What business would think this was enough effort? To accompany the assumed sleeve of my wrap came a plastic container of 80% shredded noodle and 20% bits of chicken mixed with watercress. When I say bits of chicken I mean the size of store-bought bacon bits sprinkled over the noodles. How miserable it might have been to actually eat the wrap. We only salvaged the lettuce for a homemade salad, no thanks to Royal Panda. The«General Tsao’s Chicken» was better than the other two menu items. It must have been sitting out(we waited an hour for delivery), but at least the chicken was edible. I’d give it a 4 out of 10, though its coating was uninspired and lacking. I’m no expert in pinpointing what it needed, but I have had plenty of Chinese food in my life, General Tso’s chicken especially. This was a sub-par effort. Thanks for nothing, Royal Panda. If any potential patrons are out there looking to order from this restaurant, make sure to order white rice with a side of sadness because that’s what you’re going to get.

This place is just fowl. Stopped by to eat before a movie at Bridgeport and I will not be going back. I ordered the broccoli beef. The broccoli was mushy and the beef was iffy at best. It had a weird flavor and had a metallic look to it(seriously!). Décor in the place is pretty odd as well. Red lights just don’t give off a clean vibe to me. Service was friendly, but that’s the only good thing I can say.

Disappointed that they couldn’t adjust a sauce to have tofu rather than beef. Most places around accommodate that. Because I was getting my food to go, she was very fast at ringing my order up before I could ask for a soda for the meantime. Hopefully the food is satisfying.

We resisted ordering takeout from here for a long time and now that we just did I think this will become a staple for when we do get takeout. BESTCRABPUFFS I HAVEHAD… hands down… no joke… they are amazing. I am not normally big into noodles but their version of chow mein is pretty good. Their cashew chicken though is also some of the best I have ever had and their fried shrimp is most impressive. Their fried items are crispy, not greasy at all. I highly recommend this place for some pretty awesome food and they go through Delivery Dish!

I could eat my weight in the paper wrapped chicken. It’s exceptional. Have eaten here numerous times as it feels like the old world style family Chinese restaurants. Super friendly and cozy. If you’ve driven by this gem on i5 and thought it was just another Chinese restaurant then you’ve done yourself a diservice. Highlights are the lemon chicken, which somehow isn’t soggy in the rich lemon sauce. So crispy. The chicken in orange flavor is superb! The Mongolian beef is rich and tender and the sesame chicken is… ugh! So good. Some of the best Chinese food I’ve had in years and ive aten at many across this country. Give them a try! I can’t imagine you’ll be unhappy.

I rather enjoyed my lunch here. The three-tiered lunch menu provided some nice options, the place was clean, the staff friendly, and my food appeared freshly made based on its crispy texture, warmth, and the sounds from the kitchen. Just to be clear to all readers, the menu consists of standard American-Chinese classics, nothing truly authentic or daring. That said, I found the hot-sour soup to have a pleasant thickness and good balance of flavours. My main dish was General-Tso’s chicken, which arrived with a pleasant crispness and was not drowning in sauce. It wasn’t the bright-red that some people desire, but I actually find the absence of artificial colours to be a good thing! Also, the broccoli arrived al dente rather than the soggy mess that most places serve up. Not sure about the fried-rice as I’m more of a white-rice man. Definitely a place to try for lunch. I doubt you’d find this menu in China, or a local Chinatown, but they serve old American favourites with speed and skill.

Well, the quest continues for good Chinese in the area and I’m exhausting options quickly. The good: I liked that the combos gave you good options including WanTon soup and fried, white or brown rice. The hot and sour soup was good, the sweet and sour pork was good. The unfortunate: the Kung Po was not what others advertised(I guess I like vegetables with mine,) and the fried rice was stale like it was left over from lunch. The dining room was empty so I have to assume that the bar is where they generate most of their income. I suppose I should try that next.

Only went to the bar, pretty standard, bartender was fun. Pool, lotto and shuffleboard available. Drinks were warmish.

Visting from California, we went there for a family meal with my two young granddaughters. Had a variety of food. The only thing I ate different from everyone else was fried rice. Woke up at 3 a.m. with diarrhea and vomiting at 5 a.m. Lasted throughout the whole next day and night. Thank God I my granddaughters didn’t eat any of this rice. Am so angry about this experience. Have already made a complaint with the local Health Department.

My boyfriend and I went for a late night bite to eat in the lounge. We ordered the potstickers and BBQ pork. When it came, I ate one of the potstickers and it did not taste right to me. Then I had a piece of the BBQ pork and it was definitely tainted meat. My boyfriend agreed. We went up to the bartender and told her it didn’t taste right and asked her to taste it. She refused and offered to get us some more. The taste of tainted meat was so overwhelming there was no way either of us wanted more. We barely touched it and were refused any compensation whatsoever. I have been in the restaurant business for 30 years and it is irreprehensible to me that the lack of concern for the health of patrons and the integrity of the business is not being addressed. It is time for the public to stand up and say something when we, in good faith, are putting out our hard earned money and being treated like we are trying to take advantage of them rather than address the issue at hand. We will never eat there or patronize them again.

I ordered take out from here and it was amazing! I got the cashew chicken, scallops and beef and crab puffs. I’m usually not a huge Chinese food person but this was really good.

Years ago I thought this restaurant was in Washington Square Two and it was great. It then relocated to bridgeport area and I gave it a try today. My first clue should have been that at 1:30PM there were only a few cars in the parking lot. When we entered there was only one customer(another red flag). We ordered three different lunch combination meals. We ordered different soups but both were not tasty, too much cornstartch in them and we 3 did not eat them only sampled them enough to know we did not like the soups. Then our lunch plates were delivered and THEYALLLOOKEDALIKE, like a mass of brown on our plates. None of us liked the food and we all left our plates half eaten because we were hungary when we went in! I have never seen brown Almond chicken or brown chow mein but everything on all three plates were brown and tasteless. Interesting to me is a picture on this post that shows they serve BROWN food. What can I say, we will NEVER go there aain. Waste of money and food. Service was good.

Very down to earth place. Second time I try it and it’s been pretty quiet and empty both times. The food is good. Your typical Chinese menu. I had the filet mignon special. It’s chunks of beef breaded and fried. I think I’ll try something else next time!

Pretty decent Americanized-Chinese food for the price and how quick it’s ready. The kung pao chicken is some of the best in the city, and all the other dishes I’ve tried like general tso, beef w snow peas, and Peking shrimp were up to par! I don’t think I’d ever go out of my way for this place, but if you’re close by and are craving some quick Chinese, this is the spot.

Best hot and sour soup you can get. Also the kung pow chicken is the way to go. I have never found any better in all my travels. Owners are super friendly people that make sure you have a great dinning experience. And the bar in the back make strong drinks while you waiting for your take out…

So I was just there on Tuesday to meet a friend for lunch… I saw the reviews on here and thought I would give the place a chance… Got there about 1:30 and it was basically empty. We were seated and given some water and tea. We were not offered any other kind of beverages like soda — I had to ask for one after we got our orders taken. It took awhile for anyone to acknowledge us once we were ready to order. Once we ordered, our food was out in a matter of minutes. Waaaaayyyy too quick; within 10 minutes. Impossible for it to be fresh… The fried rice tasted microwaved and the egg flour soup was so thick it was almost like jello. The portion size was great for the price but the quality of the food was worth less than what we paid.

Worst experience in a long time. The hot and sour soup was thick and nasty. When the food came, sweet and sour chicken and kung pow chicken, it was Luke warm and was like it was in a crock pot. I just paid and left. Felt the food was unsafe to eat because it was at room temp and was old. Would not go here. terrible, unfriendly service.
