We moved our 92 year old mom into Russellville Nov 2014 so we’ve had time to assess the facility and staff prior to writing a review. Finding the right home for your loved one can be an exhausting responsibility. We did our research: visited facilities, interviewed residents and their families and analyzed amenities. Our top rated facility was Russellville and we have been satisfied with our selection. I am not going to say our transition has been seamless. There have been miscommunication when new services were added to our mom’s care but the staff have been attentive to our concerns and we have been able to move forward with minimal disruption. We are also happy Russellville has a memory care facility within their assisted living building. If/When our mom needs additional care, she can remain in her same building where she has familiarity and where she has made friends. One of our mom’s friends use to live at a nearby facility but moved to Russellville for its good food. I admit to finding excuses to stay for lunch or dinner when I visit. Since dining is one of the major social activities for mom, it is important that not only is the food good but she enjoys the experience. The Russellville dining staff cheerful, call her by name and even bring her favorite beverage before she even has to ask for it. Put Russellville on your list to visit. It’s a clean facility, has lots of social activities, a multiple service levels available, and attentive, respectful and cheerful staff.
