For whatever reason, perhaps «the Holidays» or simple procrastination, after going to Sabrina I didnt run right home and write this review. But its a good thing. Too often when you get your hair done it takes a while before you get to see the whether the cut holds up. I mean it usually looks great, right? when you walk out the door. After a professional blow out and style session it has to look good. Well I am writing this a full ²¹⁄₂ weeks after my appt. with Sabrina. Now after a few washings, no blow drying and really no styling whatsoever its easy to see what a pro Sabrina really is.
I went to her completely on a whim. I was looking for someone on the Westside who had an opening that week. Its hard to find a hairdresser when you are new in town. So I took a chance, called and was shocked when she said that she had an opening the very next day. This could of been a bad sign, since, as we all know most excellent hair dressers are generally booked out for a few weeks. Especially during the Holidays. On top of that she worked from her home which makes you sort of wonder.
But I was desperate. So I went.
Happy to say that Sabrina is the real deal. She happens to be a lovely personable woman, truly warm. Her inhome studio is professionally appointed, plus her house is very nice also. But none of this matters a hoot if my hair hadn’t come out.
I went there as a drab dirty brown with a cut, that could be classified as sad DIYer. My hair is also heavy and hard to style. Most stylists just want to whack about a third off with thinning shears to give it lift.
Sabrina listened intently when I described what I thought would be the look I was going for (in actuality I had no idea) In the end she gave me an asymmetrical long layered bob with fantastic highlights. The highlights are so remarkable because they really look like I spent the past month on a sunny beach. I have had numerous compliments, a couple from strangers who want to know who I «go to». Sabrina is an exceptional hairstylist. She knows what she’s doing and is able to accomplish the exact look you want! I’ve had my hair done by Sabrina many times and she has become a very good friend to me. Her experience is obvious by the amazing work she does and by the dedication to your hair that she shows. I consistently suggest Sabrina to all my friends because she is the one stylist that I’ve found who truly knows hair!

I found Sabrina here on Unilocal,thank GOD. Although not many reviews, her client photos sold me on her talent. I needed a seasoned, skilled hair artist to fix a very bad «ombré» another hairstylist gave me. Sabrina took my fried, dip dyed looking, half yellow bleached stands, half dark, and did a beautiful beachy blonde balayage that blended beautifully throughout. Sabrina achieved what I was originally going for (balayage highlights with slightly lighter ends), and did it on hair that was in a mess at that. There are many hairstylists, but few hair ARTISTS. She listens to her clients needs and wants, and really worked with me in the aftermath of my previous hair disaster to make sure we achieved a great result. Moreover, she loves what she does, and knows all the current hair trends and keeps up with what women want today. So impressed by her openness to continual learning of her craft. It doesn’t get better than this for trusting another person with your hair.

I went to Sabrina for a balayage ombré hair color. I am very picky about who touches my hair especially with color and prior to my visit my old stylist who moved away did color competitions. Sabrina not only is an expert mixer in hair color she mixes the most important ingredient and that’s passion. She absolute LOVES what she does and it shows through her quality of work. Sabrina is a FIVE STAR hair artist, if you want five star hair you have to have a five star hair stylist. She’s simply amazing.

I was having a hard time getting exactly what I wanted from my previous hairstylist with every couple of colors being «sort of close» to the blonde that fit me best. After knowing her on a personal level first, I went to Sabrina because many of my close friends were getting colored and styled by her frequently and the work spoke for itself. I got a truly bad blonde color job by my old stylist which set me to seek Sabrina’s expertise, finally. She saved my hair by giving me a natural ashy blonde that I would have never thought of to ask for. It made my blue eyes pop and I fell in love with the way it looked so natural, almost like I didn’t even get it colored in the first place. Words cannot explain how relieving it was to find a hairdresser that understood my hair better than I did, she has a magic touch that you can rarely find. I know first hand that her coloring skills go beyond blondes, she has an ability to fit the color to the persons style, personality, and hair type.
She cares about you as a client first and truly loves what she does! I will stick with her for a while and recommend her to anyone of any age!

I recently moved back to Oregon and was looking for a good «hair girl». I LOVED my girl in Oahu and every girl knows how crucial, and difficult, it is to find a GOOD hair stylist. I asked for recommendations on my Facebook (after a few months of coloring my own hair, so terrified to try someone new). I got a million and one suggestions, but one friend of mine, with especially good taste and always pretty hair suggested someone so I thought I would give her girl a try.
I came to sabrina a little over 3 months ago. Told her I wanted a balayage color and brought in a picture. She nailed it. She did such a great job and I was so happy! I have been back twice since then. She always does an amazing job and I have been happy every time. I would refer her to anyone! She has been in the business for a long time and really knows color well! :)
