Great little shop — wandered over from Pok Pok with my mom so I could get her a 35 year NA coin — she was tickled by all the bric-​a-​brack and I got gifts for other sober friends as well. Tons of fun knick knacks, even if you’re not an AA/​NA person… chances are you know someone who is and chances are you will find a special gift that they will appreciate.

the SERENITY SHOP’s next door to POK POK. my wife and daughter wandered over while we were waiting on a table. a very nice proprietor lady and lots and lots of mostly twelve-​step (as in «GOD grant me the SERENTITY») material.
son, WYATT, and i followed after getting our name on the list. i was a little grumpy about having to wait but walking in was instantly reminded of how lucky i really am.
like the man said (that would be MICK JAGGER), «you can’t always get what you want but if you try sometimes (and sometimes even when you don’t) you might find you get what you need.»
life is good. sometimes i forget and need to be reminded.
