She She Spa

I really wanted this to be my new spray tan place. :(She was an hour late to my appointment, which I was ok with since I wasn’t in a hurry.
I had this done in December. We went upstairs to the room where she does the airbrushing and the window was wide open with a fan blowing on me. Freezing cold! Spray tans alone in themselves are shocking in temperature when sprayed over your body. I swear the room was maybe 50 degrees inside.
Aside from being super cold, she was out of lotion to apply around my feet, elbows, hands and knees (the drier places on your body). Every spray tan person knows you should apply lotion as a barrier to keep from having the tan appear darker there. I managed to get a few drops out of the lotion.
After my tan was finished I was extremely careful. I moisturizer daily. Was careful when showering not to scrub, etc. My tan lasted less than a week (she said it would last two weeks) and I was very streaky the entire time. So when it started coming off it looked horrible due to the uneven application.
The girl that did the spray tan was really sweet and nice. I just don’t think she knows enough about spray tans. :/

I purchased a groupon for a wax here based on the great reviews. I scheduled an appointment online and showed up a tad early to my appointment as I hate to be late. This spa is located inside a hair studio, no problem, luckily they were open because I waited for 30 minutes and she never showed up for the appointment! I called her, left a very nice message saying how I understand if she needs to reschedule, things come up, I get it. I NEVER got a call back to reschedule or even apologia for the missed appointment! I am shocked someone can be so unprofessional. Too bad because I was looking forward to finding a new wax lady since mine had moved. So caution to anyone booking an appointment.

I am reviewing on a waxing experience that I didn’t even get to have. I’m a new customer who had no knowledge that Sheena is not open on Sunday’s, and the fact that I booked my appointment online for Sunday (as it said it was web confirmed) seemed pretty legit. Being the cautious person I am, I double checked to see if my appointment was still valid. I called in and it sent me straight to a voicemail saying that the spa’s operating hours are Mon-​Sat, and me being a new customer who just booked a Sunday appointment left me confused. And there was no way to talk to someone because the call kept on sending me straight to an automated voicemail. So as a new customer, what do you do? How desperate would you be for a groupon deal on a Brazilian wax? Pretty desperate, especially if you don’t live in the area so it’s a 30 minute drive just to get to the spa. So I went, had to put a woman who works in the salon below Sheena through my frustration of having driven all the way out to Alberta to not get my waxing because of Sheena’s failure to get her online booking straight. And the fact that Sheena said that this the second time online booking has done this, leaves me very concerned and even more frustrated because she obviously did not get the online booking issue resolved in the first place to have it therefore happen to another customer. I am very disappointed in the unapologetic conversation I had with her, and how she lacked to thoroughly fix her online booking issue that has now happened more than once. I recommend trying somewhere else.

Found out about She She through a Brazilian wax special on Groupon and I’m still going there. Its very easy to make appointments and in my neighborhood. Wasn’t my first wax and its a little different then other methods but its quick and as about as painless as can be. My favorite part is how comfortable she made me feel and how she got the shape that I asked for. And I always enjoy the music she has playing!

I bought a brazilian wax special on Groupon. The spa was clean and comfortable, and with the groupon, the price very reasonable. Sheena did a great job, and uses high quality wax. I had no in-​grown hair or irritation after the wax.

I went to She She for a Brazilian wax. This was my first time at She She Spa. This was not my first wax, but I have had some very good ones and some very bad ones in the past! For my Brazilian, Sheena used a hard wax. It was delightful, as painless as possible, and not awkward or uncomfortable in any way. The environment felt very clean and welcoming. Sheena was professional and offered me a discount for my first spray tan when I come in for my next appointment! I did not feel pressured to buy anything or do any services that I wouldn’t want, as I have felt pressured to do at other salons. I had a great experience here and I will definitely be back!

I really like the color of the spray tan. It looks very natural and my skin felt really soft and smooth the next day. I’m defiantly hooked! They also do waxing and though I don’t usually get waxed I’m thinking about it just because of how great and professional it was. I felt really relaxed and they had be in and out so I did not have to waste any of my time.
