Called him out for a bid which we scheduled ahead of time. I called to say I was running 5 minutes late and he was all the way in North Portland and said he couldn’t be there for about 40 minutes. No call or heads up. I waited for him at the job for an hour and 45 minutes and he didn’t show, call, text, nothing. VERY FLAKEY.

Steve came out and bid a job. We agreed Steve would complete the work on a particular day. Prior to the start, we rescheduled for the next week. The day of the job, Steve called and said he’d be unable to make it, but would certainly be arriving the next day at 9am. Steve did not arrive at 9am. He did not answer my call at 9:30 or 10:30 am or the text I sent. I spend the entire day trying to find a new handyman to complete the task. He texted the next day saying he planned to come, but I had already hired someone else. In no way was this worth the time or effort.

Steve is top notch! I own a rental property and he has done amazing work for me. From ceiling fan repairs, dishwashers and a heating element for the hot water heater.
He is reliable, personable, trustworthy and one heck of a handyman!

So far we could not be more pleased with our experience with Steve. He was recommended from word of mouth and we are so excited that we received the recommendation. His communication has been top notch and his follow through has been 100% which is not common in my experience. He gave an extremely competitive bid for our 100+ foot fence job and was able to find us a killer deal on western red cedar which is absolutely beautiful. We are already looking forward to the next project that we hope to have him work on!
