We are so happy that Kim came to our wedding in November 2011 both as our friend and as our photographer. We knew we were in good hands and trusted that she would beautifully photograph our important moments. She has a calming, relaxed, cheerful presence as a photographer and gives helpful directions. I’m more comfortable being behind the camera than in front of it, so it was a relief to be given some pointers. Kim is also completely non-​intrusive and captures moments without you realizing a photograph is being taken. She fully photographed each of our three wedding events. In all, she took photographs with elegant, graceful framing. The colors are vibrant. For our evening shots, there is a great warmth exuding from the photographs. The beach shots are happy and she has given them a nostalgic quality that makes them feel timeless. We are so grateful to have these photographs to forever remind us of our wedding.

Back when we lived in TX, Kim met up with my husband and 4 month old son during Austin’s hottest summer for some family portraits by the skyline before we moved to Virginia. Even at 7pm, it was still in the high 90’s and that made for one cranky baby and sweaty adults. I was thrilled when I saw the results that she actually captured my son smiling and we didn’t look like we were melting! Kim was very professional and was also flexible to accommodate the shots I was looking for. Before I had my son, my husband and I got maternity portraits and he had commented that Kim was not bossy like our other photographer. I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking to get photos taken!
