Stopped in for a quick strap change. They were able to help me out on the spot which was great. I ordered the wrong strap size by 1 mm and they were able to provide a solution: even better. On top of that the owner sent me on my way without damage because it was such a quick fix. It’s refreshing to have solid(and local) customer service and it allowed me to get a feel for the shop. Which is great because someday I’m going to want a new watch.

So disheartening that the actions of one female employee changed my «I am so glad I found this place and I will tell all of my friends» to «I will never, ever, frequent and will make sure to share my awful experience.» With so many options, it is sad when a small business loses customers not due to poor workmanship but just poor customer service.

It was such a pleasure shopping for a watch in this store. Nice selection. After a short time browsing through the store. I explained the type of watch I was looking for. The woman showed me the watches that met the criteria. They immediately fit the watch I chose, put a new battery in it, set the time and I left with a beautiful watch on my wrist. I usually don’t like shopping, but if this is what shopping can be like I can change my thoughts on that activity. I will be returning to have a clock repaired that has been unused for 20 years. Very nice people and store.

Great service today. I needed a clasp replaced on my watch and they completed while I waited and didn’t even charge me for it. Doug helped me with some questions I had about some Ball and Oris pieces that they had. Very courteous and helpful. Great little shop with watches of all price ranges. Highly recommended!

I shopped for a watch here for Christmas present. The staff was friendly and professional. Highly recommended! Buy real watches here with confidence. They are knowledgeable and stand behind their products.

I brought a wind-up mantle clock in for them to look at. Before I could even put it down they curtly informed me that they don’t work on Korean clocks. No reason given. End of conversation. Extremely disappointed, I brought it home and decided to put it back on the mantle for decoration only. Lo and behold, it started running again. As it turned out it needed to be on a more level surface to operate. It has been running fine for months since then. I was appalled at the rudeness and condescending attitude and vowed I would NEVER bring any timepiece to them under any circumstances.

I don’t understand the bad reviews here. The staff(it’s family owned) were very professional, friendly and helpful. The co-owner, Jill, was very patient and walked me through every case with my requirements in mind. There was no pressure and we talked a lot about our mutual experiences in Switzerland. Most people wouldn’t believe this but their prices are actually cheaper than if you bought the same watch over there! If you’re interested in a high quality time piece then you should pay them a visit.

Wow! This place is great! I just walked in to buy a new wristband and the nice lady at the counter just offered to repair my current alligator wristband for… free! If you are looking for a great high-quality watch, this is definitely the place to go! Thank you!

I have gone into Swiss Time on a number of occasions for band adjustments and other tuning issues. I had them take too many links out of an IWC, tried it on at home and it was too tight. I took it back, they fixed it for free. I popped the back off another watch, couldn’t get it back on, they did it for free. They have always been nice to me, helpful and respectful.

I can’t even begin to express how rude rude rude the staff in this shop is. I wouldn’t ever bring my business to these people as they clearly have no concept of civility. If I could, I’d give them no stars.

I have been a loyal customer of Swiss Time for years. One of my indulgences is watches. I have bought a $ 700 Tissot for myself, a $ 500 Tissot for my brother-in-law, a $ 1500 Omega for my wife, and a $ 1700 Omega for myself. My Omega band recently lost a pin, and I took it in for repair. I was informed that«store policy» was to replace all pins at the same time, regardless of whether they needed replacing. The charge would have been upwards of $ 200. The cost of a single pin is $ 26. The reply, upon my assertion that that seemed unfair was that, «You will just be back here in a year to have another one replaced.» It is clear to me that the owners of Swiss Time have relied too long on a wealthy clientele that will pay without question for any service. I would highly recommend that if you are considering a watch purchase, watch repair, or even advice, that you avoid Swiss Time at all costs. They have absolutely no appreciation for return customers, portray an attitude of haughtiness, and are genuinely unfriendly. On top of that, they look to extract the maximum amount from each customer on every purchase, fair or not. It’s too bad that such a unique shop with such an attractive product line manages to ruin the experience altogether of buying a fine timepiece.

My husband and I brought Swiss Time an antique mantel clock that had just been given to us. We gave the clock a gentle wind at home and when nothing happened we assumed it needed a professional’s touch. The clock had been in a box for twenty years, after all. It took Swiss Time three weeks to look at the clock, but they told us up front there would be a wait because the head clock person was on vacation. So that was fine. When they called they said it was all seized up and would cost between $ 500 and $ 700 to repair and clean. They said it would take approximately four months, possibly longer, because there were many other clocks to repair ahead of ours. I passed. I am SO glad we did. We brought the clock home to Texas and had a local clock repairman look at it. You know what he did? HEWOUNDTHECLOCK! That’s it. That’s all. Didn’t charge me a dime. So either Swiss Time is dishonest and was going to charge me $ 500 when nothing was wrong with the clock, or they are so grossly incompetent that they didn’t know that all the clock needed was to be wound. Either way, it doesn’t speak well of them. Go elsewhere.

I had a mantle clock that had stopped working. I brought it in to be assessed by Swiss Time and left it with them requesting a estimate. After a month, I called to check on it and they said that it hadn’t been seen yet. After another month I called back, and again they said it hadn’t been seen. After the third month, I started to worry if they had lost it. It turns out that they had. A few weeks later they told me they found it and fixed it. I came in to pick it up and was hit with a $ 300 repair bill for a common, winding mantle clock. They never even bothered to give me an estimate before fixing it. It ran for one month and then stopped again. I brought it back and it took another two months for them to fix it again and to my shock, they charged me $ 30 more dollars for work that should have done the first time. The clock ran for about a month more and then died again. I’ll never go back there again, even though I think they owe me and I make sure to tell anyone about my experience and steer them elsewhere. DONOTGOHERE. What more can I say?
