My girlfriend and I tried really hard to think of food we had recently that was worse than this. We couldn’t think of anything. The mexi fries were like eating rocks. My burrito was cold and had very little flavor. And hers had sunflower seeds in it. Who puts sunflower seeds in a burrito? Also, we both had major bathroom attacks soon afterward. Steer clear of here if you don’t want to get sick off of nasty food!

Such Taco Time on Barbur Boulevard is undoubtedly well run. They have average prices on some things, but lower prices on others. Staff are friendly and the location is kept up. Although their food is indisputably proccessed, it is recognizable as decent. I went here on my commute. It was less than four dollars for a crispy meat burrito and a small soda. I was served right as I finished ordering. There’s better, but the burrito had a nice crunch and tangly flavor as if it had originated at a good convenience store. This does customers justice where a taco truck isn’t handy.

Atrocious! Just flavorless Mex-style grub. Absolutely GROSS!!! Sorry, but I cannot even understand how they stay in business.

Horrible establishment!!! Went in earlier today with my kids… Not only was it 100+ degrees inside… but there were bugs flying all over and landing on my kids and our table. Gross! Especially at a food place! Besides the décor… The cashier forgot to give my kids their toys! I paid for them, I expect to receive them! Had to go back just to get them! Then I ordered 3 Choco Tacos because it was so hot… and again… she spaced it. Kept talking with the cook and I stood at the counter for almost 5 minutes before she remembered. Which was really a waste of time. The workers were too busy speaking Spanish towards each other… they really do NOT pay attention to customers. Will not be returning!

This is Taco Bell all over again. I don’t know where they get their hamburger but this is not good. My wife cooks really good tacos and this ace doesn’t come close to hers. I am in a pretty good mood so I’ll give it 2 stars.

Driving from a somewhat depressing task downtown to Tigard, I took Front street to Barbur thinking I’d find lunch. I ended up in the drive thru at Taco Time. Yeah, I probably had better choices. Today was a stuffed mexi fry day… and a sweet pork burrito. Stuffed Mexi fries come with ranch or sour cream. I never knew! I got sour cream. It came in a little container. The burrito wasn’t great. Slightly undercooked rice and some pretty fatty salty pork. It had sour cream and cheese. It cost less than $ 4. They made it into a combo meal with my bottle of water(saved me .45) gave me a mint and napkins(you laugh but this seems rare lately) and asked me if I wanted hot sauce. Duh. I kinda still like Taco Time… but today wasnt SUPER successful. Oh lunch. Why is it so difficult?

Definitely a few cuts above Taco Bell. I always enjoyed the food there a lot; never had a bad experience there. It is borderline fast food, for all intents and purposes, but I can’t complain. My favorite menu item was the Casita Burrito, but everything on the menu I’ve tried has been good… although I don’t quite think sunflower seeds in a veggie burrito is too appetizing so I’ve stayed away from that one. I suppose I could have them ‘hold the seeds!’ I just wish they had Taco Time in California where I live, I’d be going there a lot!

Great owner, always there to serve customers — Love the number 1 meal w/extra Crispy Taco(Chicken) and tons of Green Sauce! WIth some Tators on the side, cant beat it. Be prepared to spend anywhere between 10 $ a person, as it is not as cheap as Taco Bell. The food is still good for the price and can compare to some great Mexican food!

I come here all of the time. Perfect for when you’re on the go and want some cheap, yet still decent Mexican-American food. Considering that Taco Time is fast food, it’s not going to be of that great sit down quality(I recommend Mazatlan down the street for that), but for fast food, it does the trick in a pinch. Great drive-thru and cheap prices. There are some good food carts downtown that I prefer when on the go and on foot, but when I’m in my car and on Barbur, Blvd, this place is definitely satisfying! I recommend their chicken and pork over their beef. Their beef has always been just a little too salty for me. Probably just a personal taste thing.

I went here after the owner in The Oregonian challenged me to experience this Mexican taste sensation. «He challenges his menu against the few and favored Mexican carts, trucks and taquerias of the foodies: «Come on,» he says. «Let’s blind taste-test them.» « So I went in and had some tater tots and I have to say they reminded me of the tater tots I had in Distrito Federal during my honeymoon.

This is close by and often a quick stop for me. They make some tasty tacos of all kinds as well as many other very good things. I like that they have combo meals(although, I notice the prices of them have went up recently). The folks there are usually quick and efficient. They carry Coke products, which I prefer over Pepsi so kudos to them for that. Be sure and ask for taco sauce, otherwise they usually won’t give it to you. I’ll be back, I much prefer it over Taco Bell if I’m looking for a fast food taco. If I really want something a bit tastier I will go over to Baja Fresh but this place is quicker and has a drive thru.

Taco Time, how I miss thee. I lived in Portland between 2002 – 2005 and this Taco Time was a regular stop for me. The vegetarian burrito is like none other(sunflower seeds! fresh cilantro!), and it was on sale for only $ 1.00 when I first moved to Oregon. That sealed my love of Taco Time forever.

Taco Time is the RC Cola to Taco Bells Coke… not always the most popular choice, but has a very dedicated following. First off, this is fast food… and there is no attempt to be anything but. Yet when in need for some quick Mexican(food that is, not a reference to Speedy Gonzalez) this is my go to destination. My love for their pound beef soft taco harkens back to my early childhood. I would spend parts of my summer with my authentic hippy cool Aunt and Uncle who lived down in Seaside. Many a afternoon we would stop by the Taco Time off the highway, pick up our lunch and head to the designated«taco eating spot». As we scarfed down our food, we would sit and watch the waves break onto the rocks below… that would be followed by my uncle and I having rock fights and rock target practices. Good times. So Taco Time has been a long time favorite and the Barbur location has to be one of the best around. While not even close to home or work, if in the area I am apt to stop in. Several other friends have also expressed that this location is one of the best. Only 4 out of 5 because, well it is Taco TIme and it is fast food.
