I almost want to say this place is a cover up for some secret services. When I walked in on Saturday at 12PM, I was the only customer there. I looked at the menu, decided what I want and waited about 5 minutes for the waiter to come take my order. He was busy with something(watching TV?). When the food arrives, he almost tossed it on my table, when his butt facing me. Same thing happen when he gave me my check. The food is, on the«taste over price» scale, 60%. They have more important thing to do … customers are not needed or welcomed.

So, I want to give this place four out of five stars, but I cannot. The food was damn tasty, but I got sick to my stomach shortly after eating it. I do have a sensitivity to MSG, which I think was the reason, since no one else had this issue. And the fried rice was damn amazing. They do hold back on the meat portions but thats ok with me.

Had the beef schezuan. Super bland. Egg drop soup… also bland. No salt and pepper on the table to help it out. They brought 2 chopsticks for a 6 person table… The water was good.

This is a very tasty Chinese restaurant with very traditional Chinese foods. It will become our favourite place for the taste of Guangdong(Canton).

We ate here on a Sunday afternoon, Service was great! Ordered Crab Puffs which were tasty. Our Entrees were Mongolian beef and sweet and sour chicken. Chicken was a tad tough but over all not bad. Mongolian Beef was great and not too spicy for me.(I like mild on spice level). We would eat here again.

Consistently very good. The food is delicious. And portions are large. The signature house made noodles are very tastey. We usually get a veggie dish and eggplant without meat. Always an outstanding firend usually gets house noodles with shrimp or chicken. Really likes it and orders it all the time. the wait staff are always so polite and firendly. Ive never had a long wait for my food

Very good. Forgot to take a photo because as soon as SamSunJjamPong came out(Spicy seafood noodle soup, under Korean menu), I inhaled it.

Quiet and friendly Chinese/Korean restaurant. They had a large selection of Korean and Chinese foods, and it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up getting the«family» meal for $ 12.95/person. So much food. It came with some friends appetizers, sizzling rice soup(nurungji tang), and two main dishes. The mushu pork was good, but it was super salty. The Korean beef, on the other hand, was not Korean beef. I don’t know what it was, but neither my brother or me liked it very much. It was covered in a lot of salty sauce, and was kind of slimy. I got jajangmyun to go, and it was so delicious! I loved how small the diced all the vegetables for the sauce. Mm. The portion was huge too. I want to try other foods here, and I’ll be sure to ask for less salt.

This place is wonderful! Went for Christmas eve, fast service, good food, and excellent prices. The sizzling rice soup was my favorite along with the Korean beef. The 12.95 Family combo is great, we had cashew shrimp, korean beef, and General Tso’s chicken… all equally good. This will definitely be on my regular rotation!

We came in for the black bean noodles and dumplings. We also got the fried chicken wings. The black bean noodles were pretty good and the chicken wings were okay. It says on the menu that the dumplings take 15 minutes to cook, 20 minutes later we are done with our meal and we asked for the check. The server informs us that we still have dumplings coming. We said it’s been over 15 minutes and we are done with our meal so we no longer want the dumplings. Then she gets a guy server and he argues with us that we agreed to get the dumplings and that it was a 25 minute wait. I pointed out that it is printed 15 minutes on the menu and he said well it’s 25 and I said okay well that should have been told to us before hand. So in the end we got it taken off of our check but they were not happy and scowled at us the whole time. So! Point of the story. Make sure you don’t want to eat your dumplings until the very end of your meal and not a minute before 25 minutes

This place is great! I was so excited to find this gem in our neighborhood, just after complaining about the lack of good Chinese in the area. I went initially searching for a good noodle soup(no. 43, Chinese Spicy Beef Noodle soup is BOMB), but was pleased to find they have a nice variety of your typical ‘American Chinese’ food dishes. This is also a great place to try something new! The ingredients tasted very fresh, not super salty, and the meat was tender. My husband gives the orange chicken many kudos, which is a lot for a guy who doesn’t like fried food;) The environment was basic, but very clean, and the staff is attentive and kind. Yay for great Gateway/Parkrose/Russell neighborhood restaurants! Definitely stop in if you have the chance.

Seriously… What are the stars for. As noted the service is very poor. Most of the time the server is standing in the middle of their restaurant watching wheel of fortune. Noodles are NOT very special. Dan Dan looks so good but is bland with unidentifiable meat. Spicy seafood soup was not spicy and a very weak broth with little seafood. Pretty disappointing.

Thanks to Unilocal for finding this little gem. About 5 mins from my boyfriends dads house and we wanted to try it out. Great Pork Bao, DanDan noodles, kimchi, & free(yummy) tea. Very cheap and very good! We both ate until we were stuffed(with some leftovers) for $ 13. Will be back while we are in town here.

Service was decent. I just hate that my boyfriend and I would always have to flag them down. Their kimchee as a side dish was not appetizing at all. The flavor was just really off. But the kimchee in the seafood hot soup was alright. House Fried rice was decent, a little on the dry side. Kung pao chicken was okay as well. If you really love having peanuts as your main dish… As in we barely got chicken in the dish. Every bite was just a spoon full of peanuts. The house made potstickers were probably the only item we liked out of everything we ordered.

Went to the Taipei Noodle House on Monday. Ordered DanDan Noodles, had never had this dish before, but thought I should try a noodle dish. Noodles were homemade, the pork sauce was one of the best things I’ve ever had in a Chinese restaurant. If you like spicy noodles this is your dish. My girlfriend had lemon chicken, lightly breaded and deep fried to perfection. Our friends both had Kung Pao dishes one with shrimp and one with beef, both said the dishes were amazing. I didn’t try the fried rice, but the other three said it was very good. Good service, competitive prices and very clean, we will be going back often.

Ordered: Two person Taipei dinner for two, sweet and sour shrimp and happy family. ~Reasonable price for the portion size. ~Food tasted great. No complaints. Service: Considering there were only 3 tables seated, it was great. Bathroom: Clean

Stopped in here for a quick date lunch today. We had the lunch specials-broccoli beef for one and the Happy family for the other. Both are excellent flavor and the vegetables are still crisp, which I love. Lots of garlic in the broccoli beef and really tender meat. I think the price was reasonable-under $ 20 after we added on BBQ pork. I did not care for their spring rolls-they just didn’t hit the spot. Their egg flour soup is loaded with flavored but wasn’t very hot.

Best place for jjajangmyun I only order the pork/regular double portion, they make it just like the ones I used to eat in Korea.
